And for anyone who is Alliance and didn't know, you can change the theme to be Alliance instead of the default horde one.

I've only ever played Horde during Vanilla. I will be going Alliance for Classic. Should be a nice way to experience it anew.

Going head to head so far, interesting after sooooooooo many years it still around 50%

I played Horde all my life, so i think i am going to play Alliance on Classic.

I started on Alliance on a NA Server just after launch. Then I rerolled when they released the first Oceanic Servers (Jubei'thos to be specific) and went Horde. I have jumped this way and that over the years, but my heart lies with the horde because my time of most enjoyment was playing my Tauren Druid in Vanilla/BC.

I remember making a Horde alt back in Cataclysm just to change sides when we were losing Tol Barad. Stayed on the dark side ever since.

This is a splendid 50:50 ratio currently.

If that translates onto my PvP server of choice, I'll be a happy Priest.

Nah, been playing lots of Horde during the last two expansions, always had a Horde PvP alt; even my first char was Horde; but seeing as my most successful chars were all Alliance...;)
Also, much prefer Elwynn Forest to Durotar; no Barrens though fmb ;/

Either way, Alliance in classic for me.

Alliance will probably always be a little higher in population. Alliance races appeal to more people I believe. But good to see that it's rather balanced (at least in this forum).

I don't think your imagination sucks. I seen a post once about someone getting flak for picking human because "you can literally pick ANY race and you still pick human?!" - but at the end of the day the game is still a Role Playing Game, so if literally playing what you are in real life is what makes you immersed I can't really see the problem in that.

Thought about this as well. It would also be interesting to know who are the forum members, planning to roll each faction (if possible).

Actually, it's pretty astonishing how equal the positions are. At the time of me voting it is 29/29.

Still very close, this is a really nice indication of how we might see the Classic WoW launch faction distribution play out... one can dream?

Alliance tend to have just a few bit more players overall, and the main reasoning is usually the aesthetic of the faction.

But it will never beat the Horde faction pride!

Horde otherwise no Barrens chat and Barrens chat is the real end game.

Wow! I'm really surprised that it's at 50/50 at 80 votes! That's awesome!

Horde for me, orc is my favourite race.
