I am a lvl 60 Resto Druid with 5/8 T1, epic mount, I just log in to raid and collect mats. I am thinking about making an alt (a warrior or maybe) but this time I'd like to try Alliance. Im on PvP realm so Id have to leave my guild and all my gold and everything behind. What do you guys think? Or should I just make a Horde char on my current realm?

If you want to experience an Alliance character, it will have to be on another server.
Why not try it and find out if you like it.
I always have had a ton of alts as i love leveling. I even had 2 rogues at level 80 at a point. So be aware you might become an altoholic :P
If you have some friends based on real ID rather than char name, you will have the option to see if you're needed on your druid.

I have only ever played Horde, From Tauren Druid in Vanilla, to Orc Warlock in Wrath, to Mage in Cata/MoP and onto DK in the beyond. On private servers i have had the horde experience, playing every single healer; for me the only thing left to do was Paladin and Alliance, and I am glad that I am trying that out for Classic, cause it sure is a different feel!

Classic only needs a sub. You can just create a second WoW account to play an alliance alt on the same PvP server. You can test it out for $13, if you don't like it just cancel after the first month.
I'm always using multiple accounts and can't imagine to level an alt without it.

You are not loosing anything; i have opposite-faction alts on different realms.
Unless you are thinking of straight-up rerolling, you’re not leaving anything behind. Just log in and play what you will.

Don't delete your level 60 whatever you do. You will come to regret it.
Just roll on a different server. I think making a second account like some are saying is a little overkill just to have an alliance toon on the same server.

I'm kinda halfway regretting rolling Horde maybe. I've played Horde for most of my WoW career but I'm just kinda meh about it. Maybe I just got tired of my class.
I'm thinking about returning to my level 20 nelf druid. We'll see.

I'd wait until maybe after phase 2. PvP might change your mind about it. However, if you're not an avid PvPer, maybe then alliance would be better? But even still, alliance raids are easy mode.

Making an alt makes sense. Getting rid of your developed toon that only needs to raid log does not. Why do you need to roll alliance on the same realm? Just roll an alliance alt on a different realm... Am I missing something, this seems insane?

I know a druid tank that had similar gear. He deleted his druid and rerolled Horde.

Like Stfuppercut said, why delete? There are plenty of servers to choose from
Ten Storms EU Alliance
Finnigan - Dwarf Hunter Lvl 30
Portalmaster - Gnome Mage Lvl 19
Shaelur - Dwarf Paladin Lvl 22
Shaelus - Night Elf Druid Lvl 50

Exactly, several of servers to go to... I have 2 accounts but have the same faction alts on the same server, its quite nice having a permanent logged bank character while you're out questing or doing dungeons..
So I am Ally on Firemaw and Horde on Shazzrah
Alliance Warlock
You should have played on a normal server then you wouldn't have that issue.

As if thats even an option. "Classic Lite"

This is World of WARcraft
