Months of anticipation have gone to shreds.

I tried my hardest to get my own name in game. I've seen the visions of me chuckling over slain Alliance who look at their screen reading:

"Slain by Bob"

Sadly, it will not be. The name is not mine.
And so I write this desperate post.

Why would Bob be blacklisted?

I really don't know, it certainly seems odd; but hey, maybe they though Bob is too common and too short :/ I've tried to find a list of blacklisted names, but I couldn't find a reliable one

I'm quite happy with it as well. So not really bummed that I didn't get Bob. Though, still worth a shot to put my message here I thought :)

That's not the case, I have two Bob on my retail account.
The "blacklisted" names are strange though. I never understood why I can't name my character Kingston, for example.
RP purposes, because of the "King"? No idea.

Kingston is the name of a company so it seems enough for RP reasons. Maybe you can try to look for the owner of Bob @ Shazzrah

I haven't got Bob but I've got Jurgen, if you want it, it's yours.

I tried to name a paladin Chad, and that name was gone 30 seconds into name reservation. The common ones got snapped up real quick.

Fuckin shame because it would have been fun to play Chad the Paladin.
