Hello all, long time wow/mmo player coming back hard for classic. Brought my old guild back up and planning to enjoy the hell out of classic pvp and the talent system. Been lurking here for a while before I decided to sign up. Huge shout out to @teebling for how amazing this website looks (as a software eng. I can admire the work put into this website). Hope to see some of you guys on my server (hopefully horde).
Cheers!
Hi all.
Stopped playing WoW in WoD and started in vanilla. Only found out about the imminent release of Classic about 2 months ago. I was so stoked and have been literally counting down the days until release. I’m an older player, 47 to be exact and a Grandad to boot. I’ve always been into rpgs, PnP in the early days, then vidya, mostly Diablo then heavily into NeverWinter Nights before making the jump to WoW. I stopped playing as I was in the Navy and didn’t have the time to commit but more than that the game had gotten so stale. It seemed like a chore rather than the fun it had once been. The wonder had been lost. I’ve tried retail again recently and it just doesn’t grab me. I don’t want to knock it too much as many people still enjoy it. However, I’ve warned my wife to stand by as I’m going to be stuck in my office for the foreseeable future. I’m semi-retired now and work as a drugs detection dog handler and am only on watch 2 nights a week. More time to level up. Hope to see some of you in Azeroth!

Hey everyone, nice to meet you all! Glad I found these boards, could be fun meeting some like-minded people.
Me, I'm just another 31-year old millennial who was there for vanilla back in 2005 but did not quite appreciate how amazing it was at the time. WoW Classic will be my second chance at a lot of firsts, like getting to 60, raiding Onyxia and Molten Core, opening the gates of Ahn'Qiraj, etc.
Of course, being an adult with a job, a house and responsibilities *shudder* limits my playtime somewhat, but I will be perfectly happy playing for an hour or two every day. Hoping to hit 60 during phase 1 so I can actually enjoy the raid progression. Going to be a lot of fun making friends along the way!
I have no idea what server I will be playing on and I haven't even decided between PvE and PvP yet, but I am definitely looking to join a guild at some point. I'm based in the EU region so any friendly raiding guild there welcoming a relative newcomer to the content will be on my radar.
Mambo the Huntress will ride again!
Hey all!
I am 34 years young, father of two, married norwegian, and used to play WoW from beta up until Cataclysm, which kinda killed it for me. Some of my fondest memories from gaming, are related to vanilla WoW, and opening of AQ gates, and raiding in general. Hope to experience some of that all over again!
For WoW classic, I will be able to play at night after wife and children are sleeping, and I am hoping to get to 60 asap. What I lack in play time, I will regain in willpower and focus :D
Looking forward to grinding Hydraxian Waterlords rep to help douse runes, and also playing priest, as I never tried that class before.
For the horde!

Hi, oldschool player here I'm not very formal and the best way to describe me is village idiot.
loving this site and im looking forward to using it when the realm list is announced and obviously when classic releases.
see you soon bros

I'm Rendroy of Anarsha, plump, blue-face, red-haired, hairy, G.O.R.A. character, carrying something like a helmet on my head.

Hello everyone, every day we come closer to the release day as so our community growns, and thats awesome. Take your sits and drinks and bear with us that the most exciting time of pre-release.

Hiyo everyone!
Found out about this beautiful site when googling for some cool WoW graphic icons for a webpage I was creating for myself, and found this post that Teebling had made. :)

Hello. I was reading a lot here lately since Google was often bringing me here, so I decided to become a member. It seems like this forum has a much better community than the other forums. Besides, as a developer/designer, I must say I really liked the design in general. This is probably the most customized, immersive, and cool-looking (albeit maybe a bit too stylized) WoW forum I have ever seen.
Anyway, I am planning to be a very casual player, but I still expect to be much better since I was just a noob little kid back then. I will probably mostly read here and I just hope I can make it to the level 60 before I realize the game was even less convenient than I remember and give up. Cheers!
Edit: I have realized that the like button changes race based on your theme, hilarious.

Hello! I'm relatively new, been playing more consistently since WoD but i've played briefly also during TBC and WotlK expansion. Thank you all!

Heia!
Bumped into this forum somehow and I love this old forum vibe, I honestly didn't think forums were a thing anymore. Anyway, been playing since vanilla beta on and off and totally pumped to get back into vanilla, sorry, classic. Hopping for a good community here :)

Yo guys, I've played wow since cataclysm's launch, and I am looking forward playing classic.
I am tired of the soulless and dead community of retail.

27 years-old, stumbled across the site looking for memes (lol), never had a sub until WoD but I used to visit a friend's house and dick around on WoW since Classic and would read all about the game since I couldn't afford to get a sub at the time. Thought I'd register since this site looks very slick and also I missed posting on forums.
Hello all, I’m Jao. I’ll be playing a warrior on Alliance side on EU servers.
Hate min/maxing, I’m all for the aesthetics baby

Hello everyone!
I ended up here after hearing confirmation of a RP-PVP server for Classic. Still on the fence, but I am actually quite eager to come back again so we'll see!

Hello all,
I registered on this forum already 2 weeks ago but haven't made an introduction to myself.
I'm called Majora and I'm a 2006 wow verteran on the Terenas (EU) realm. Since the realmlists are out I'm thinking about going on Golemagg (PvP) on the Alliance side. I'm dutch, 29 years old, got a wife and a fulltime job. I'm planning to enjoy the content and not rushing it. My play time is limited to only 5-10 hours a week but in that time I'm going all in for the classic wow experience. When it comes between PvE and PvP i'm more intrested in PvP since I just like fighting Horde. If anyone here is going to play on Golemagg (Alliance side) just send me message.

Realm : Golemagg (PvP EU) / Alliance

Hello all,
New here and looking forward to chatting with and possibly meeting some of you in game!
I will be playing on EU Pyrewood Village.
I played Alliance back in vanilla (2006 I think I started) but going for a change to Horde for Classic! A new experience beat nostalgia after all!

*Mwah*

I never actually participated in large RPs in WoW, but it is definitely something I want to try at the very least.
Moreover I always found that RP servers (both PvE and PvP) have a more mature community in general. Since I am planning to take my time and have fun over stressing over everything that is a plus to be considered, even if you do not roleplay at all.
Hey all,
Veteran (day 1) RP-server player here, on Earthen Ring EU. Played up until WotLK, then on and off till BfA.
Will be playing (planning to main a (Shadow-)priest (might become Holy if needed for a raiding-team) on Hydraxian Waterlords RP EU.
I was wondering if any Social, fun, mature (not hardcore) guilds are being plannend here. Looking forward to play with other veterans and relive the fun we had up until WotLK.
Hope to see you there...
Cheers,
Shadow
