Downloaded the classic client today and checked out the stress test, and it got me so hyped. Problem is that the closer we get to launch, the more I don't know what I want to play. I'm a career altoholic. I have played and enjoyed every class. I guess I should go ahead and resign myself to not hitting 60 any time in the near future lol.

The solution is pretty simple. Dont create an alt until you hit 60. Dont create a bank alt. Dont create anything. Show some self-control and complete 1-60 before playing anything else. Otherwise, alt it up! If you have fun alting, don't suppress yourself just to get to 60... If you find value in playing casually at the low end of the leveling pool, hang out there. You could even go as far as finding communities for lowbies like level 19 twink guilds etc.

There's always the benefit of having so many alts that you can park them inside inns and always have one with maxed out rested experience. That way you always have a character to play with bonus experience.

I don't particularly enjoy playing at low levels, I just get bored with my current class too easily, which comes from the fact that I do genuinely enjoy the different playstyles and lore associated with the different classes.Stfuppercut wrote: ↑5 years agoThe solution is pretty simple. I guess the real villain here is retail where I have been able to play every class at max level, getting them to the new cap and gearing them with very little effort. I have been feeding the altitus for years now, it's a hard disease to beat when it's gone unchecked for this long.

I definitely do this a good bit. It's also a great solution if you're getting camped.

I have this same issue, and I'm sure it will take me an eternity to hit 60, but I'm fine with that considering I'll be playing with my wife, who'll be new to the game, and with my friends that all now have children (I don't).
I'll have a character to keep leveled with my wife, a character to stay around my friend's level, a main I'll be farming gold on, a twink, and a bank. That ought to help scratch my alt itch at least for a while.
I did make a list of all the other characters I want in advance though, so I guess we'll see what we will see.

It's a little bit of both to be completely honest.

Yep,
I'm a Mage, Warrior and Priest, I like to alternate between the three.
I've always been pretty good at levelling one at a time.

me too buddy im worried for myself not being able to just stick with my main and hold on on creating a whole server worth of alts and rotating between them all. i guess ill just try to only work with the 3 i reserve on tuesday like put them in inns and use them for bank alts and auction alts before i actually level them. that way itll be like its too convenient to have them sitting there to grab all my shit ill be sending them, to bother taking them all the way back to the starting zone to play with.
