@Stfuppercut Ironically if my launch plans hold up my hunter leveling experience will be the most social of any I've done. I was honestly worried it might be a waste of the class... 
NO! You cant possibly play hunter wrong. Thats the beauty of the class. Hardcore world first virgin destroyer? Hunters is BiS for server first 60. Casual sally who cant play more than 2 hours per week? Hunter will serve you best. Socials do well on hunters!

For leveling and casuals I would agree Hunter is best. Feral druid isn't too bad either, ease of leveling, survivability and versatility. I have always hated dueling vs Paladins. Don't know about them in Classic though.
As a druid it had to be Warlocks.
As a warrior, definitely mages...

Speaking as a member of the Horde.... Undead Rogues. I can't help but think that literally every single Undead Rogue is a sweaty keyboard warrior, sucking down Monster Energy Drink and puffin' out just the FATTEST vape clouds. "Undead is just the best race for PvP," "Rogue is honestly kinda underpowered," "you really have to know the match ups," "jfc the only reason you beat me is cus you got good crits."
This might be a caricature but I just have an irrational hatred for Undead Rogues.

I have no hate towards races, only classes who can chicken out from a fight such as vanish rogues (not vs me as druid though) and paladins with hearth bubble.
There are too many shit rogues running around thinking they are good by stunlocking poorly geared people, and as soon as someone who can actually fight comes up, they vanish and leave or wait in stealth for the person to have one or several mobs on him.
Obviously this is war, and that is a working strategy but it doesn't make you good, it makes you a little weasel and I will go to the ends of the earth to corpsecamp you and your disgusting choice of a character.
