This is really one big problem for people like my girlfriend who is a nurse and has 4 shifts system with a 7 day the week possibility.

I have seen a lot of guilds that cater to the needs of working adults, be it with weekday or weekend raiding. So there should be something

I am one of the older player's and share a long history with WoW, like being in closed eu beta for vanilla, later founding a 12/15 naxx guild to playing it casually in TBC, Cata and WoD. Always loved the chatting and group experience and that's why I regularly came back after quitting.

I was 7 when I started playing WoW in vanilla, my father played and watching him made me want to try. I remember being clueless about what to do since I didn't speak a word of English at that age. My dad would translate quests for me whenever he had the time but mostly I ran around like a headless chicken. I remember learning that the word "slain" in a quest objective meant killing something but since I was unable to understand the quest text giving me directions I would run up and down the entire zone clicking every mob until I found the one who's name matched the quest objective. Yes it was stupid and incredibly slow leveling but I still had the time of my life. Looking forward to being a little more efficient this time around.

I cant drink legally. Looking for alternative methods to make it through ony attunement if anyone has any ideas.

I am under 15 but I only ever got into wow because my friends dad showed me the game and he would always talk about how the old game was better so I can't wait to see if he was right

Puh, not sure if you gonna like classic wow, most young people need something fast living.. :D But I hope you will find what you search.

No over 50 category? I'm 54 in August. I wonder if I am the oldest Classic player?

My battletag is: RevChris#1597

I wouldn't think so. I know one my mates would be almost that age when classic drops, so I don't think its ludicrous to expect older players.

There has always been guilds to accommodate regardless of your schedule, you just need to seek them out. Work nights? Find out a server that has peak times that will match your work schedule. Can only play weekends? Get a raid that does weekends. Want to RP / Level forever with no endgame content? Join a feeder guild. Toxic player that just wants some laughs? Join the local meme/twink/low level guild. There has always been a place for everyone.

I was 14½ when Vanilla was released for me in Europe 11 Feb 2005, was turning 15 June 30th, I will be 29 now when it's released again.
Back then I skipped school alot to play, those were the days. (Didn't effect my grades though)
If I skip work now I will have to eat bread and noodles for the rest of my life. Might be worth it.
According to the poll, most on this forum at least are similar age to me. Like Lagomorph above me said this also gives me
hope that more players have family/jobs and will not be as demanding in regards of when you should be available.

I also was 14,5+- when Vanilla was released. 9th of April I turned 15.Shamanigans wrote: ↑5 years agoI was 14½ when Vanilla was released for me in Europe 11 Feb 2005, was turning 15 June 30th, I will be 29 now when it's released again.
Now when Classic will be released, I'll be 29 years old.
This will be a completely different experience from me. Trying to squeeze every minute of my free time to put into Classic but I will still won't be able to play that much compared to 15 years ago.
The only difference now is that we know everything already, so the leveling process should be a lot faster compared to the beginning of Vanilla.

Started playing waaaay too young so I'm in the mid-20s, but no surprise to see that most are around their 30s.

bump.
So that people who have not voted may vote :)!

I was entering college when I got serious in vanilla WOW, so 31-35 for me

| Nýxt - Demonology Warlock | Kirtonos PVP | Level 50 | - | Awkaran - Resto Druid | Kirtonos PVP | Level 20 |
| Fatherbatch - Holy Priest | Kirtonos PVP | Level 1 | - | Reignmaker - Frost Mage | Kirtonos PVP | Level 1 |

I remember the days i've been 14-15 years old and always wanted to look older in the eyes of my friends/guild mates and ironically now when i grew up i wish to look younger in the eyes of my friends/guild mates lol
Btw a lot of votes, nice to see the dynimac.

24 here. Started on Lich King but couldn't reach end game, in fact, my Dwarf Hunter ended 42 :c
Been playing privates 1.12 ever since.

Bumping an old thread, was curious if this poll existed yet...
I'm 32 and started playing back in high school in 2005. I played left tackle and defensive end on our high school football team and would come home from practice beat to shit and just wanted to sink into my chair and relax by tanking my way through azeroth. A few years later some of my buddies almost failed out of college because they were playing too damn many hours. I bypassed this issue by never going to college in the first place
I am actually surprised to see so many younger people in the 15-25 range. I half expected most people in here to be 30+ coming back for a game they played in their late teens / early 20s.
