As I play Classic, I notice something absent from modern WoW: very noticeable, big-ass treasure chests randomly placed all over the world and dungeons. Although these chests are so sought-after that it's standard practice for groups to roll on them, and much butthurt ensues when someone ninja loots them, they rarely contain anything good (More recent expansions have had similar chests, but they're much smaller and more well-hidden, and never found in dungeons, so nobody ever rolls on them). No better than what you'd find in a lockbox, usually. So I have a suggestion to make them more interesting: each one should have a random chance, like maybe 1%, of dropping a legendary item. Of course, if Thunderfury, Sulfuras, and Atiesh were the only legendaries available, then this would seriously screw over hunters, so I'd also suggest dramatically increasing the number of legendary items to at least 50 or so, with many being class-specific. To discourage people from just farming chests for legendaries, players should be prohibited from wearing more than 2 legendaries at a time. Finally, because some players might have such horrible RNG that they'd never get any legendaries, there should be a vendor somewhere in each capital city who just sells legendaries for an easily acquirable in-game currency.
It's the perfect solution.

This thread has been a great way of finding out who can recognize an obvious joke when they see one, and who's just slow :)

It's a troll post, and it is very obvious. There are more and more troll threads on the forum these days.

Very subtle trolling, when done well, is funny and a welcome addition to any forum I think.
At this point you're just flat out annoying, sorry.

You're such a good troll man, wow, you got us all. Brilliant comedy. /Clap.

It's obvious because it's intended to be obvious, and when something is intended to be obvious, it's not trolling. It's satire.
I repeat: when something is intended to be obvious, it's not trolling. It's satire.
Apparently, I was still too subtle

What is the point of your "satire" besides farming post counts?

Little do most people know, but it is scientifically proven, but once a joke has been explained it actually heightens the comedy of said joke.Black Monarch wrote: ↑5 years agoIt's obvious because it's intended to be obvious, and when something is intended to be obvious, it's not trolling. So thank you for that, I didn't quite get it at first until you explained it to me, now I understand this hilarious joke on many different levels now.
