Atiesh has both an "Eight Inches Unbuffed" guild and a "Ten Inches Unbuffed" guild. I've seen at least one of these names on modern realms.
I used to be in a guild on modern WoW named "ßlood ßath and ßeyond". Atiesh has a "bloodbath and beyond"
Every realm has a "Naga Stole my Bike" (on Atiesh, it's "Naga Stole my Bicycle") and/or a "Dead Naga Storage". Every realm has some variation of a "Department of Gnomeland Security" or "Hordeland Security". Every realm has a "Filthy Casuals"
And of course, every realm has that one buttmunch who thinks it's funny to take the guild name "Method".
Come on, guys. Really? Come up with your own names once in a while.

I see far less (hardly any) of this on Deviate Delight. Hooray for RP names!
Although someone did make <Make Azeroth Great Again> which was also very unoriginal.
But the majority I see are definitely RP-ish names.

Fairbanks has a guild named Snoop Stole my Hubcaps and it makes me laugh every time I see it. These are all great names.

Naming things is hard, and if a name is available on a server then it's fair game.

Hahaha I always see "Hyjal Kids Hyjal Wife" i remember when that guild first popped up years ago. I've seen one on Arugal called Bath Time with Nan????
My favourite though is how my tooltip displays player's ranks in the guild. Some have some pretty classic oceanic language as their ranks

Also kind of annoying how many pretty offensive names fly under the radar because they aren't in english. Recently saw a Swedish guild called "Raskrig", which is Swedish for "Race War".

Favourite I’ve seen here on EU RP so far is <Royal Apothecary Society> comprised of all Undead members.
Names like "For the Alliance" or "For the Horde" are totally blatant and I have seen both of those in realms that I play in. Firemaw and Skullflame and I play on both factions.
I prefer those that have only one name, but I have yet not seen good ones that I like though.

A funny one I saw on our French server <Sulfuron> :
The term "Method" is translated in french as "Méthode" (we'll get rid of the accent for good mesures)
So some guys created a guild called <Methode avec un e> which is translated as, you guessed it, <Methode with an e>
I find this so straight to the point and silly that it gives me a smile each time I'm passing by one of their member haha 
It's like reposting on reddit -- a lot of people will see repeat content, but for many people it's brand new. These funny ones are great and I'm glad they're spread through different servers.
