Yeah absolutely the gear sucks in comparison to what is available and easily obtainable at that stage. For someone like me who can’t really commit to raiding it is a nice endgame challenge.

Rememeber you can start getting the tier 0.5 with the bracers and you collect the others when the time comes.
But since you are going for this I would assume you will have the complete dungeon set before the 0.5 comes avaliable.

I only had like 3 or 4 pieces of Devout gear but I was able to start the quest with the bracers and then you need the others as they are requested by the next quests.

Man I remember when T0.5 came out, I completely ignored it because it was basically the same gear as the valor set I already had. But that looks like a fun quest chain. I'm gonna stick that guide away for later, I kind of want to try it out at some point. That guide is awesome.

Can't wait to spend a ton of $krilla on what may not even be an upgrade.

I voted for AQ opening because I have fond memories of that time. I think I started just around this period (or just before that) as I remember people trying to buy massive amounts of low level materials and I was really puzzled as to why, and there being many NPC's in Orgrimmar asking for materials. Our server was really slow and I wasn't actually a high level when the gates did open. I think I would be around level 20-25 at that time.

This time I want to actually be there in Silithus for the event! Hopefully the war effort isn't completed in 1 day

I give it 7 minutes.

Ignoring the launch as a separate hype factor, the actual phase content I voted for phase 2, as it brings in PvP ranks/rewards as well as DM and world bosses, which I feel were great additions to the depth of the game. I'm excited for all phases for different reasons though.

Make sure to log out at the gates the night before, and log back in right during patch time
