i am newly married with a baby on the way and a full time job. Im hoping to get as much time as i can in

I've got plenty of leave saved up so I'm gonna take two weeks off and no-life it. Even if I have to go back to being more casual once I head back to work, being a turbonerd for a few weeks is still my favorite way to play "new" games.

took the first 4 weeks off of work. Will play the first 24 hours straight, then with 4 hours sleep till 60. Hope to reach 60 in the second week so i can then farm dungeons for gear and farm consumables.
I always take a break after 4 hours straight playing by going around the block or shopping food.

Luckily, August 27 is still early enough so that I can squeeze in a few days of playing before the semester starts, but my original plans of no lifing the game have been thrown out the window The midnight release here in Europe is a bit of a bummer though.

Have 3 weeks off work and will play the shit out of this game :)
After that, it's back to work. Hoping to reach 60 and get some of my pre-raid gear done in those first 3 weeks, so i can find a guild to raid with and play more casually afterwards with raids twice a week or so.

I'm off the day of release but I work the two days after and three days before. Thinking of putting in PTO for it since I have a month of time built up.

Uni starts again September 2nd after the summer holidays, so I have 6 days of pure binging. I've been hyping it a bit to my girlfriend who's played lots of Zelda and other RPGs in the past, so she actually said yes to try it out. Don't know if it will be a curse or a blessing playing with her, but time will show.

I still don't know yet, it depends on a lot of factors for me. I guess I'll have to see, but if the hype is big enough I'll probably take a few days off of work.

Least spend 2-3 hours on launch if i dont get days of the first week from my jobb.
Otherwise its game-on here.

Lots of banked time / vacation time and the opportunity for shift transfers. I wont be headed back to work until I am 60 =). Should hit 60 in about 6.5-9 days played because I think I'll probably get roped into some ganking sessions. At 60 I'll get my gold rolling and start leveling my alts to 35 for profession sales. Should be ready to raid log within about a month of Classic?

Have taken the time off work from launch, so I will have 5 days available for playing.. Have upgraded my setup a bit, so I will have nothing to worry about and can fully enjoy and immerse myself to Classic.. (New ultrawide screen arriving today actually)
My son will be spending some of the time in daycare, then I will be bringing him home early and spending time with him before my fiancée (wife at that time) will get home to take over. Hoping for around 10 hours a day of play time for the 5 days, and I plan to make it to level 30 - 35'ish, and then I will go back to my normal schedule of 15 - 20 hours of gaming pr week if I am allowed

I'll have free time until Uni starts again in October.
My GF works full time and i'm doing night shifts once or twice a week as a studentjob, so i'll get plenty of playtime during the day :)

I will try to take off the week of launch (27th-30th) and try to level as much as possible during that period without rushing it too much. I still want to enjoy the content, help friends etc.
A week or 2 later I'll probably have to go on holiday for a week so I'll fall behind the curve their I guess :p

I have limited time to play and although I could take some time off at launch, there's almost no point as all I'd do is get to level 20-25 before the majority of early people only to then fall behind over the following days / weeks.
So rather than worry about time off at launch I'll save those holidays for when I'm level 50+ and want to push hard to get to 60 or when I need time specifically for dungeons / raids.

Sadly I will be rather busy during launch with an important project being in a crucial phase at that time. I still plan to play every second I can free myself from work. I am dropping hints at how much I am anticipating this game at an increased rate, which is how I emotionally prepare my girlfriend to only expect the most basic interaction.

I will getting a new job here in a couple weeks and with my family now I don’t think I will be able to take time off and sink tons of time into it during launch. I will play couple hours a day but nothing crazy. I’m going have to be a filthy causal. :(
Side note when I first read the title I thought it said what’s your plan for lunch.

The wife & I are planning on taking a few days off together @ launch—which is much easier for me since I run my business from home and set my schedule. I'm particularly stoked because she knows how much the game meant to me back in the day and she'll be joining me this time around. Pretty awesome!

I thought about taking launch day off of work, but I suspect the servers will probably be fairly unstable, and that the initial rush will make things difficult. I'll be home from work anyways when launch time comes around, so I'll make a character, play a bit that evening and go about as normal. My plan is to take off work that Friday, to give myself a long weekend to really dig in once (hopefully) all the launch day kinks have been worked out and the starting zones are maybe a little less packed to the gills.
That weekend will be a different story though. Gonna have zero ultra monsters stacked on deck, and gogogo as long as I can manage.

After several practice runs on private, which offered a great training phase for both me and my girlfriend, I've learned the most valuable time during Classic is flight time. Make a list, either physical or mental, of things you can do to appease her... Quick drive to go grab her coffee or some specialty beverage, throw a roast beef in the slow cooker so that youre "cooking" all day while not having to be away from your seat, etc etc etc. Then use those flight paths to accomplish these short tasks so that you dont seem like such a piece of human filth. By my third or fourth run through private I would quickly run a vacuum across the floor, give her a quick 10 min foot massage, load/unload the dishwasher.Samaraner wrote: ↑6 years agoSadly I will be rather busy during launch with an important project being in a crucial phase at that time. You can call it being whipped, beta or cucked but I plan to play 16-18 hours a day while not working and still maintaining a happy home life / sex life. Learn to prioritize your flight paths and THAT is key to leveling ingame without letting your real life get ganked.
