The World of Warcraft YouTube Channel officially gives us a look into the new Race and Class Combos, of course starting with the Forsaken Paladin then jumping into the Dwarf Shamans, Orc Mages, Human Hunter, Troll Warlocks and finally the Gnome Priest.
One quote [in the video] that really caught my attention and I had a listen again was this:

But the same basic question applies to all 6 [combinations] what does this combination let us say about this race that we couldn't before? These 6 combinations are just the beginning they are more than just options on the character select screen

Early census info showing like undead pally 60% more popular than dwarf sham interesting. Of course dwarf sham been around in retail etc, but pretty interesting.
Yeah, I think that's why most of the appeal for the appeal for a Dwarf Shaman isn't as high as a Forsaken Paladin, it's never been done so EVERYONE wants to play it. Kind of like how BELF Paladins became so popular on Horde + they were Horde first Paladins.
