SoD was definitely a ton of fun. But it fell off kinda hard. I feel like Blizzard shouldn't abandon that completely, tho. There is definitely stuff they can re-use like the raids, and maybe even some of the runes! I think the problem is that SoD didn't go far enough not that it changed too much.

I think we'll see some of the new content again for sure. They put a lot of effort into Phase 8 and will surely want to reuse that. Karazhan Crypts too. It's too much to just leave it to rot on a seasonal realm that never gets touched again.

Whatever they do is bound to go a step further than SoD since SoD was limited by being on the same build as the other versions of Classic. They should have a lot more freedom with Classic+.

I prefer the early SoD phases. The BFD raid is probably my favorite bit of adjusted content - I'd like most new group content to be at a similar level of base complexity. With high-end level cap raids ramping things up further.

The Rogue rune quests were also extremely fun. Hope they keep them in the game.

And of course Shaman tanks need to become a staple of the game.

People seemed to like the lower level caps, so I wonder if we might see that again in Classic+. That's the only way I could see them reusing the lower level raids.

I wasn't too big a fan of the world events (Ashenvale, Blood Moon etc.) so I hope they come up with something better on that front.

I enjoyed level-gating in SoD. The trick is to time them so that the majority of people are happy with how long a phase takes.
