So, a hot take, but here we have more 'invalid' npc combinations coming in Midnight like night elf paladins so why can't I play a night elf paladin

Meanwhile I'm still peeved they let female nelfs be druids and male hunters.
Things like that are liable to make a man go full Illidan.
I think the only reason we can't use any combination yet is because everyone already plays blood elves and druids, and we'd have nothing but a bunch of blood elf druids running around.
I feel like lore in retail is so all over the place anymore it hardly even matters, maybe that's just me though
