In this section we will be covering your Pre-Raid BiS gearset for reaching your maximum potential damage, and your BiS gearset for each phase. For the sake of simplicity, I have disregarded gear obtained through PvP or Classic WoW raids since they won’t be run as often in Burning Crusade Classic.

• Trinket: Icon of the Silver Crescent (41 Badge of Justice)
• Held-in-Off-Hand: Lamp of Peaceful Radiance or Orb of the Soul-Eater (25 Badge of Justice) or Khadgar's Knapsack (25 Badge of Justice)

Weapons

• One-Handed: Blade of the Archmage (Requires Exalted with Logistics Officer Ulrike – Alliance) or Stormcaller (Requires Exalted with Quartermaster Urgronn – Horde) or Greatsword of Horrid Dreams
  • Expensive Choices: Talon of the Tempest, Eternium Runed Blade, Blade of Wizardry
• Two-Handed: Terokk's Shadowstaff or Warpstaff of Arcanum
  • While I do not necessarily recommend choosing Quartermaster Endarin, but if you do, you will have access to Auchenai Staff once you reach Revered status
• Ranged: Nether Core's Control Rod (If you need the Hit Rating) or The Black Stalk

Phase 1 BiS Armor

• Head: Spellstrike Hood (Would have the 2-piece set bonus for the chance to gain extra spell damage for a short time) or Voidheart Crown
  • Voidheart Crown doesn’t have any Hit Rating by default, so if you chose this option we would have to find some additional Hit Rating (If you follow the first option for the other pieces, we would be at 15.77% Hit, leaving a need for 0.23% if we used Voidheart Crown)
• Neck: Brooch of Unquenchable Fury
• Shoulders: Voidheart Mantle or Frozen Shadoweave Shoulders
• Cloak: Brute Cloak of the Ogre-Magi or Ruby Drape of the Mysticant (If you need the Hit Rating)
  • Expensive Choice: Ancient Spellcloak of the Highborne
• Chest: Voidheart Robe or Frozen Shadoweave Robe or Auchenai Anchorite's Robe (If you need the Hit Rating)
• Bracer: Bracers of Havok or Crimson Bracers of Gloom or Bands of Nefarious Deeds
• Gloves: Handwraps of Flowing Thought or Soul-Eater's Handwraps
  • Expensive Choice: Anger-Spark Gloves
• Belt: Girdle of Ruination or Belt of Divine Inspiration

• Boots: Boots of Foretelling or Ruby Slippers (Handy if you need the Hit Rating)
  • Note: By equipping Frozen Shadoweave Boots (comparing to Boots of Foretelling)
    • +31 Spell Damage / -120 Health / -225 Mana / -1.02% Crit Chance
  • If gemmed correctly, Frozen Shadoweave Boots can grant you +3 Spell Hit Rating, but given our gearing, we don’t need that, so we’d only be missing out on the 28 Spell Damage (Gemmed according to the below link) while gaining 1.08% Crit Chance
• Ring: Band of Crimson Fury
• Ring: Ashyen's Gift
• Trinket: Scryer's Bloodgem (Requires Revered with Quartermaster Enuril – Great if you need the Hit Rating) or Starkiller's Bauble (It has less Hit Rating, but it does provide 2.06% Spell Hit Chance)
• Trinket: Icon of the Silver Crescent (41 Badge of Justice)
• Held-in-Off-Hand: Jewel of Infinite Possibilities or Jewel of Infinite Possibilities or Khadgar's Knapsack

Weapons

• One-Handed: Bloodmaw Magus-Blade or Nathrezim Mindblade
• Two-Handed: Staff of Infinite Mysteries or Terokk's Shadowstaff

  • Note: Hood of the Corruptor can help you reach your set bonuses
• Neck: The Sun King's Talisman or Brooch of Unquenchable Fury (If you need Hit Rating)
• Shoulders: Mantle of the Corruptor or Mantle of the Elven Kings
• Cloak: Ruby Drape of the Mysticant
  • Note: Ancient Spellcloak of the Highborne is a great choice if you are lucky enough to receive the drop from Doom Lord Kazzak
• Chest: Vestments of the Sea-Witch or Robe of the Corruptor
• Wrist: Mindstorm Wristbands
• Hands: Soul-Eater's Handwraps or Handwraps of Flowing Thought
  • Note: The choice to prioritize these in this manner was that we reach the Hit Cap without using Handwraps of Flowing Thought
  • Note: Anger-Spark Gloves are a great choice, if you are lucky enough to receive them from Doomwalker
• Waist: Belt of Blasting, Cord of Screaming Terrors or Girdle of Ruination
• Legs: Leggings of the Corruptor
  • Note: While difficult to come across, Leggings of the Seventh Circle are of similar value
• Feet: Boots of Blasting, Boots of the Shifting Nightmare or Frozen Shadoweave Boots

  • Note: If you still need Hit Rating, you can use Band of Crimson Fury, Ashyen's Gift or Sparking Arcanite Ring

  • Note: While casters can achieve a 99% chance to hit with their spells, there is always going to be a 1% chance to miss, making Eye of Magtheridon a viable selection
