Heroic Dungeons
Every player’s first character will be required to become fully attuned (hitting Revered reputation level), but upon doing so for each dungeon, players can then purchase a Bag which contains a Bind-on-Battle.net-Account key to send to alts.

Alts must reach at least the Friendly reputation level to use the key and grant attunement to that character.

Raids
Every player’s first character will be required to become fully attuned for each Raid, but upon doing so, that raid will be unlocked for all characters on the player’s Battle.net account.

Shadow Labyrinth - Auchindoun
Only one person in the group needs the key, or a level 70 rogue with 350 lockpicking
The Shadow Labyrinth Key drops from Talon King Ikiss in Sethekk Halls (Lvl 67-69).

Heroic Mode:
Revered with Lower City.
Heroic key sold by the Lower City quartermaster in Shattrath.

The Arcatraz - Tempest Keep
Only one player needs the key (or a 350 lockpicking rogue).

To get the Arcatraz Key, complete the Stormspire quest line in Netherstorm. A'dal eventually sends you to gather:

• Bottom Shard from Pathaleon in The Mechanar
• Top Shard from Warp Splinter in The Botanica

Combine them to form the key.

The Shattered Halls - Hellfire Citadel
Only one person in the group needs the key, or a level 70 rogue with 350 lockpicking can open the gate.

The key quest starts in Shadowmoon Valley by killing Smith Gorlunk on the Ata'mal Terrace. He drops the key mold that begins the chain.

Heroic Mode:
Revered with Honor Hold (Alliance) or Thrallmar (Horde).
Heroic key sold by each faction's quartermaster.

Karazhan (10-man) - Deadwind Pass
Everyone who wants to zone into Karazhan needs The Master's Key.

The chain starts right outside the tower from the woman in front of the entrance. She gives two quick solo quests done nearby. After that head to Dalaran and talk to the mage on the north side.

From there collect the three key fragments:

• First Key Fragment - container near Murmur in Shadow Labyrinth (Lvl 70 Auchindoun)
• Second Key Fragment - inside The Arcatraz (Lvl 70 Tempest Keep wing)
• Third Key Fragment - inside The Steamvault (Lvl 70 Coilfang Reservoir wing)

After gathering all three complete Opening the Dark Portal in Caverns of Time (requires Escape from Durnholde to be completed). Medivh completes The Master's Key for you.

Serpentshrine Cavern (25-man) - Coilfang Reservoir
To get attuned for SSC enter Slave Pens Heroic. After the first boss you'll find Skar'this the Heretic in a cage. He gives the quest The Cudgel of Kar'desh.

You must loot two items:

• One from Gruul the Dragonkiller (Gruul's Lair)
• One from Nightbane (Karazhan)

Return them to Skar'this and he will permanently attune you.

Heroic Mode:
Revered with Cenarion Expedition.
Key sold in Cenarion Refuge (Zangarmarsh).

The Eye (25-man) - Tempest Keep
Everyone needs The Tempest Key to enter.

After completing the Cipher of Damnation chain in Shadowmoon Valley Khadgar sends you to A'dal, who gives the three trials:

• Trial of the Naaru: Mercy[/b] - Shattered Halls Heroic
• Trial of the Naaru: Strength - Shadow Labyrinth Heroic
• Trial of the Naaru: Tenacity - The Arcatraz Heroic

Finishing all three awards The Tempest Key.

Heroic Mode:
Revered with The Sha'tar.
Heroic key sold in Shattrath.

Mount Hyjal (25-man) - Caverns of Time
Mount Hyjal is one of the Phase 3 raids and requires each player to complete a short but challenging attunement. The questline itself is simple — the difficulty comes from needing kills from both Tier 5 end bosses.

Requirements:

• Level 70
• Revered with the Keepers of Time

Attunement Quest:
Speak with Soridormi inside Caverns of Time and accept The Vials of Eternity.

You must collect two items:

• Vashj's Vial Remnant — drops from Lady Vashj, final boss of Serpentshrine Cavern
• Kael's Vial Remnant — drops from Kael'thas Sunstrider, final boss of Tempest Keep

After turning both in to Soridormi you are permanently attuned to enter Hyjal Summit.

Black Temple (25-man) - Shadowmoon Valley
To enter the Black Temple, you must complete a long quest chain that includes going into Arcatraz, SSC, TK, and Mt Hyjal.

The process starts with Tablets of Baa'ri (Aldor) or Tablets of Baa'ri (Scryer). Keep going with the quest chain until Akama's Promise is completed.

You won't get any new quests after that until you go into SSC and defeat Fathom-Lord Karathress which enables you to talk to Seer Olum and get the next quest.

Completing the follow-up quests with Akama and Maiev Shadowmoon culminates in the attunement quest A Distraction for Akama.

After finishing it you become permanently attuned to the Black Temple.
