The first time I walked up to these gates I just had to stop for a few seconds in awe. I'd finally made it to the place I'd seen on all of the PvP videos I'd been watching. A few seconds was all I had before I was ganked, obviously. Nonetheless, this particular location has a special place in my heart and is the first thing I think of when somebody mentions Vanilla.
What's your special place?
For me, I also think Teldrassil is one of the most iconic zones in classic, from the lighting, to the music, the atmosphere is sculpted in such a mystical manner that really builds the core "feeling" of what WoW is about.
