Desolace is not bot also, you can make a super nice smooth route there.

Hillsbrad Foothills ftw. Pretty nice zone to do both PvP and PvE.

Zangarmarsh. I know it's not vanilla but if I think of one zone where I always completed every single quest, it's Zangarmarsh. It's effortless and it was always so pleasant to quest there. When retail decides to shut down for good, that is where I will be parking all of my retail toons to reside for infinity.

There's quite a few that I really like but if I had to pick only one: Duskwood. I just love the spooky atmosphere that somehow is completly different than Tirisfal.

Nostalgia wants me to say Dun Morogh.

For some reason i really like the Wetlands, but top of the list would be Hillsbrad, Arathi, Redridge and Duskwood!

It's hard for me to pick just one.

Mulgore for sure for me.
I’d say barrens but I got my ass kicked so hard in there ( looking at you oasis snapjaws ) that it loses to mulgore in terms of efficiency.

Nobody the grandness of Feralas!? Worked for me! That and ashenvale.

Leveling, I like Westfall
Leveling Mining, I like Un'Goro (just go round & round)
Leveling Herbs, I like Swamp of Sorrows (herbs everywhere)
Leveling Skinning, I like Stranglethorn Vale (Nesigwary camp)
Nevermind, just change all that to Stranglethorn Vale, yep.

I can't really say since i haven't been to every zone in classic wow. If i were to guess, i'd say either STV, Hinterlands, Winterspring, 1K needles or blasted lands. I think every zone looks amazing lol.

I suppose saying Nagrand in Outland doesn't count in this forum ?
Dun Morogh really has it for me. The quests get a bit boring after doing them a few times, but the snowy landscape and the ambient music fit so perfectly together.

For me there are a few zones that come to mind: Teldrassil and Ashenvale have that magic forest vibe going on and Un'Goro has the untamed wilds atmosphere. But I like Feralas just as much. So for me mostly zones with lots of foilage and trees. I mostly dislike the barren zones like Tanaris, Blasted Lands or Silithus.

To conclude I would say that my most favourite zone overall would be Ashenvale.

Duskwood and Redridge.
The entire theory behind picking different cholor schemes mentioned by Blizz is pretty clever and definitely had an effect on me. (Going from Green to Yellow to Red to Blue, if you play a Human) That's part of the reason I never liked questing in Kalimdor as much. Just a lot of deserts, mountains and wastelands there imo.

Redridge gives off that cozy atmosphere of your average (in a good way) RPG town, and Duskwood has that spooky vibe, great quests and memorable moments and they both have very fitting music.

There is many for me but if there is just one too pick - it would be Tirisfal Glades.
I have so much found memories of that place, old brill and the inn.
Good time it was.

Feralas and Thousands Needles one of my favourite zones overall.

As a leveling zone Barrens is hands down the best one. Surely for Classic will name my bank alt MankriksWife.

STV is da best.

I really like Redridge. The quests are easy enough, the enviroment looks great! And the time spent is short enough that i wont grow tired of it! 10/10 :)

Alliance: probably Darkshore.
Horde: definitely Silverpine or Tirisfal Glades. Absolutely love undead atmosphere and seeing the ruined human hillside.

Redridge, Darkshore, and Wetlands are all really cool. Also have fond memories of being in Feralas when I hit lvl 40 as enhancement in BC. Getting a kodo mount + dual wield + stormstrike all around the same time felt awesome. Remember that "weapons of spirit" quest?
