I've been lurking here for some time and found it to be a great place to hang around while waiting for Classic. A lot of useful information and a very nice comminuty in overall. Glad to be even a small part of it!
I'm also going to be completely new to Classic, as I didn't have the chance to play vanilla WoW. And honestly, I cannot wait for it! To me it sounds like a challenge, meaningful leveling (finally, no rush) and an adventure. Just taking my time to enjoy the game with old and new friends, seeing my character grow one step at a time.
I've been reading the forum since Classic Beta started and I couldn't get enough Classic (no beta invite, sadly). The conversation here has been very good and mature so I joined. See you all in the forum and maybe in-game too.
I'll be playing a Dwarf Warrior and my wife will be playing a Dwarf Priest. We'll be tanking and healing mostly five-person end-game dungeons. If we have time to raid (unlikely but possible), we'll do that too!
Never played WoW to much. I never got into it and first time I played was a few weeks in MoP but got bored really quick because my friends all played since Vanilla. Then played Legion a week and finaly BFA for a few months because I finally started getting into the world more. But I felt like it was not what it was supposed to be or once was. I'm really excited to play Classic and get my first real experience of the greatness of WoW Classic! cya in Azeroth!
Found this forum while searching for a aoe leveling/gold grinding guide for mage and found one from @Jpy (very usefull btw) and this forum kept me reading for days, really interested on whatever you guys have to share and the more I read the more I want to.
I'm glad I've got to know this forum before Classic release :)
Hope you guys have a blast in Classic and hope I see you in the battlefield :)
i'm sorry i don't understand ? i looked around and teebling is like the admin here? why did you @ them?
First of all, your post was pretty low effort "hi im new" with no grammar and no explanation as to why you are on the forums, secondly this thread: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1630

Yes, yes - someone in your position would definitely say something like that! :shifty_eyes:biggle wrote: ↑1 year agothats not me and i had no idea about that! im serious!Selexin wrote: ↑1 year agoFirst of all, your post was pretty low effort "hi im new" with no grammar and no explanation as to why you are on the forums, secondly this thread: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1630
I join a cool forum I found out about today, I introduce myself, and first thing is I'm suspected of being a spy!? I'm kidding, but I think these suspected persons would have said "haha you got me, that was easy!" by now?s1atan wrote: ↑1 year agoYes, yes - someone in your position would definitely say something like that! :shifty_eyes:biggle wrote: ↑1 year agothats not me and i had no idea about that! im serious!Selexin wrote: ↑1 year ago
New to the site, but boy am I happy to be here!
I've recently been getting more and more excited for WoW Classic. I played back in the day from beta to TBC and stopped shortly before WotLK. My goal for classic is to go the same route as I did back in the day, which also means that I'm looking into dual boxing a mage + priest. Yes that may be an odd team, but that's what I did back in the day, so why not. Back then I was a Class Lead/Officer in a raiding/PvP guild, so this time I'm looking to create a similar guild with the same friendly atmosphere, if you're interested look at my signature.
Looking forward to hanging out with you.
Hi everyone! I never got to play Classic (I started the week before Patch 3.3 came out), and I'm very excited to see the game as it was originally. I've even started playing Warcraft 3 so I can see the story before WoW (although I already know what it was, it's different to see it unfold in the game) and found copies of the old strategy guide, the dungeon companion and the Atlas on eBay so I have everything ready when the time comes.
FOR THE HORDE!
Protecting the weak, punishing the wicked
I have played WoW since Legion, and quit on WoTLK.
Now I am playing to do old school grinding for WoW Classic.
Already booked a vacation for one month, to have time for grinding and playing :D
Planning to play for Troll Priest.
Also, we are working with friends on the marketplace, where you can purchase wow classic gold . I know this is against the rules, of wow, but we feel, that everyone, that earns something, should have the right to sell it :) Also you can buy wow classic account if you need:) or WoW Classic Power Leveling
Greetings, i'm playing WoW almost since EU release (started with paladin, maining priest since late TBC), raided semi-hardcore\hardcore almost every content until 7.2
After that decided that i've reached my goal and retired awaiting for Classic release. Now forming multinational guild to play with good community.
I started in the end of Cataclysm. Played until the end of Mists of Pandaria and quitted. My friends told me that the original gameplay of WoW was in Classic and The Burning Crusade. Today, my passion as a gamer is playing Classic WoW. I played in Nostalrius and signed the petition to send to Blizzard. I'm happy to see that our effort was not in vain.
Since I'm an Atiesh lover, I decided to make a guild called Risen. In reference to the original guild who Ratherbrute (the priest) got the World's First Atiesh. As a class lover, I always played as a Mage (not in retail, only classic/tbc versions).
That's it, good reading. I still don't know which realms is going to have, but if I could choose one to stay, I'd say US-Malygos (even that I'm from Europe).

Nollie from Norway here. Played Vanilla, TBC and WotLK as a Tauren Warrior and an alt Dwarf Paladin on the servers Terenas and Neptulon.
Was a young gun back in vanilla days, and was lucky enough to be a part of the guild <Parasite> from the UK. With the 1 hour time difference and high school studying I still had to persuade my mom that this guild needed their tank for THE WHOLE RAID, regularly surpassing bed time. So, if anyone remembers, or was in the guild Parasite on Terenas realm here, holla at me! I'm the Norwegian viking with the squeeky, prepubescent voice on Ventrilo.
Now, I am ready to experience this fantastic world again, this time as a hunter, and hopefully with some more understanding of the gameplay than I had back then. Looking forward to mastering a new play style and do some shoot-em-up in PvP. Rolling alliance this time because I found a great guild from Norway for us casuals/semi-hardcore, so if anyone else from Norway sees this I warmly recommend checking out the "WoW Classic Norge" discord with almost 1000 members.
Anyhow, love reading this forum and I am hyped for release! See you in game!
Greetings Barrens Chat,
My name is Noruno and I've been away from WoW for a minute now. Was a resto druid (Thynnor) throughout classic and raided in a guild called <Not Suitable For Kids>, then got busy with school, didn't play much TBC, only hopped in towards the end to start a Paladin (Nymerus) for the first time, which I then went on to tank with for the rest of my time playing WoW in Wrath with my guild <Not Quite Sane> and the first half of Cata before I quit for the first time. Since then I've only played each expansion as a tourist and never did any real raiding, just some Mythic+ in Legion.
I have always been Horde, but this time for classic my friends and I are mixing it up and going Alliance for the first time for a new experience. Wanted to continue being a Paladin but can't vibe with their classic state and I have never liked tanking as a Warrior so I have decided to go Rogue to try a pure dps for the first time.
Glad to have found this place, seems like a much chiller forum than /r/classicwow and look forward to chatting and perhaps playing with you all in the near future.
