Level 49. Just spent most of my weekend grinding ZF. Totally worth it - the faction imbalance is pretty bad on Fairbanks and trying to quest anywhere outdoors at any time of day is a mess. Can't quest for more than 5-10 minutes without getting ganked, and that's with stealth on tap and being careful of my surroundings.

Level 49. Level 60 is finally within reach.

Well, the job market here totally sucks, but I got something for Xmas that I was able to trade for game time, so after a 3-month hiatus, I'm back in business. I just dinged 48 and I still haven't replaced most of my Scarlet Crusade gear... by the way, I LOVE this mace. Automatic thunder clap spam without having to swap to battle stance! BEST TANK WEAPON EVAR.

Excellent plan......

You're going to have to reach higher than that lad. The fire is way up over your head.

Nope. It was a $50 movie theater gift card, and I traded it to a guy who was probably older than me.

Been raiding for 6+ months now, been part of a tanking core for all of MC, Onyxia, BWL, ZG, and prepping for upcoming AQ40 and Naxx content. I've tanked Onyxia, Ragnaros, Baron Geddon, Shazz, and every boss in BWL including Nefarian. I never really raided before, so this has been an incredible experience. Our raid team is rolling along strong, and we're planning on carrying this core group forward into TBC when it finally rolls around.

Feels good man. This entire Classic adventure has been everything I wanted it to be. One of the few things that's ever really lived up to the hype.

Took about two weeks to hit exalted. I found a good AB team and won 54 straight games at the peak of the win streak. Lots of hours though, a few nights stayed up past 5AM as we kept rolling. Some days spent about 12 hours in there. Playing on an organized team is way more fun than going in there solo. I tried doing the AB grind solo for a while and nearly deleted my character at one point. But now that I know a bunch of guys on the rank 14 grind, I'm probably going to keep hitting AB now and probably make a push for rank 11 so I can get the PVP mounts.
The main thing I was after in AB were the https://classic.wowhead.com/item=20194/ ... -shoulders, these shoulders are nuts and last me the rest of the game. They have 1300 armor in bear form. Since I'm a dedicated off-tank in raid, I haven't cared much about threat or hit rating. My primary goal with gearing has been mitigation so I can soak damage while holding the 2nd or 3rd kill target in any given fight. These shoulders are thicc.

They are indeed fabulous. But i dread the grind. I dont have a fraction of the time as mentioned here above.
Well we will see. My new desktop arrived to say. Somewhere next week i hope to install classic!
Hurray!!.

I kind of like it man. Some of the best gear in this game doesn't look over the top with excessive design, and it's really cool. It's kind of like how a lot of people don't like how dinky the Bonereaver's Edge is, but I really love how it looks. It's a short stumpy sword, it doesn't look as crazy as something like an ashkandi, but as soon as you see a warrior charging you with that stumpy sword with a black glow you know you're about to take some big damage. They're sleeper items.
