Just hit 40 this weekend!
Did alot of grinding to get my tailoring up!
Crafted some useful gear for my warlock and got the whitemane helm in SM Cathedral!
First run, I got it, ran it a few more times for gold and xp, was really fun!
Having a mount is really useful and I guess kinda completes your character!
Also since I have been running around on foot for so long in game, I keep forgetting I have a mount now and I find myself sometimes still running on foot LOL! I get half way through the Barrens and see someone on a mount or I see the icon on my screen and be like, "The fuck, I have a mount now"

Got my 100g's yesterday so I am prepared for my mount. Closing in on level 40 (I am 37 atm). Really excited to get mount soon.
Sadly I have been super busy with other stuff irl so I haven't been able to level as fast as I'd hoped :(

Currently a Lvl 55 musclemage.
Idk what I am... I feel like a 2h rogue with all this leather I'm wearing..
I cast FIST!

Wtf is a muscle mage, a shaman?

I'm secretly hoping it's a melee moonkin....

53 now, heading into BRD with guildies for the first time tonight… Going for full run, so should take a few hours!
Alliance Warlock

I Hit 39 last night and finally got my Icefury Wand.
Now only to find a good way to make some cash as i only got 65G. Guess i'll read up on some money making guides :)

Farm basilisks from 39-40 and you will come a long way of the missing gold for mount!
Ten Storms EU Alliance
Finnigan - Dwarf Hunter Lvl 30
Portalmaster - Gnome Mage Lvl 19
Shaelur - Dwarf Paladin Lvl 22
Shaelus - Night Elf Druid Lvl 50

I'm currently level 29 on my Warrior/Druid combo, and level 17 on my mobile turret Mage (more on this in a future guide).
My estimate was that I'd get to play for an hour or 2 a week, and it would therefore take me 2-3 years to hit 60. I've been fortunate to be able to have a bunch more time than this while still keeping my family and job first, so I'm really happy with where I am. My revised estiamte is 60 in the middle of 2020, hopefully around the time phase 3 launches, still giving me enough time to conquer the content that's available now before Classic kicks into overdrive with the BGs, AQ40 and Naxxramas.
I'm still as hyped to play as I was before launch, every moment I get to play I'm trying to do so, so nowhere near burned out yet!

Not sure how to quote a messange, but @ Erik; do those basilisks drop nice stuff? I haven't had anything drop whilst farming them for singing crystals in STV.

Day 52:
Still trying to decide what class to play and still having a lot of fun.
(Not even going to say what class I am currently playing because I might jinx it)

I don't get to play much so I'm only at level 34 meanwhile everyone I know is at max now and gearing for raids so I'm sadly losing my motivation a bit. Leveling is nowhere near as fun alone.

Zandalar Tribe EU
Tinytusk - Troll Shaman
Zinnia - Undead Mage

@Tinyhoof
Not being able to play with your friends is a bummer, but its also an opportunity to meet new people you otherwise may not have grouped up with. Additionally, playing solo for some time makes the encounters you do have more meaningful.

So i dinged 40 yesterday.
Did a full SM run together with a guildie (60mage) and that got me just enough gold to buy my turbochicken :)

I'm about to ding 30, haven't even been inside an instance yet. I joined a noob guild last night so hopefully that changes now.

I'm sitting tight at 45, just starting the Tanaris/ Ferelas/ Hinterlands quest triangle which is one of my favorite parts of the game.
Vennrick - Human Warrior
Keatts- Human Rogue
Grobbulus - US

Hinterlands can be an annoying zone, but I agree, that period feels great. You're still appreciating the mount, there's so many quests with great rewards, you have a lot of useful abilities by then (sorry paladins). It's a fun time.

Yeah, I enjoy the environment/ ambience of all three zones, with hinterlands being my favorite. I think you are also correct in pointing out that it's finally mount time, which means I'm no longer stressing over money, ironic since these zones just load you up with cash. The post 40 scene is also where you kinda know that everyone else around you is also in it for the long haul. People who were tourists or just messing around are rarely gonna go past 40.

Keatts- Human Rogue
Grobbulus - US

I have run 3 onys and one Molten core and getting my epic mount this weekend. Not looking forward to being poor again

Vikernes - Human Warlock - Arugal

51.5 at the moment. I am heading away on holidays at the end of the week so won't be 60 for a little while. Did hinterland elites this weekend and got guard captain trinket and woven ivy necklace so that was nice! Druid is going well, starting to collect some int/healing pieces as I get closer to 60 in case I switch to hybrid spec.

Different kinda progress, but I just put behind me the world of 1080p @ 60hz and jumped on the 1440p @ 165hz world and oh my god am i enjoying it!

Did my first MC (pug) which went pretty smooth. Was able to grab a https://classic.wowhead.com/item=16866/helm-of-might.
Now I'm weighing the cons and pros of putting +100HP vs. +20Fire Res on it. I have otherwise 0 fire resist.
I'm a bit... burnt out of playing a helpless warrior. I'm deep prot specced now, which goes without saying that in open world PvP I'm just a free kill. I can't grind for shit, and my attempts at selling pug tank has not been great because pugs are cancer of WoW. I'm right now only running dungeons with guildies, and my only upgrades left are from UBRS. So if we don't have the numbers for a guild-majority UBRS, I'm sort of... out of options?
Maybe I can't think clearly because I was so triggered in world pvp yesterday. Also my gold is almost all but gone (200g left, but have like 500g in assets that will be worth that much in later phases.. so yeah, only 200g.) since I bought tons of consumables for my first MC raid.
Therefore I'm duo leveling a hunter with a guildy (he is a shaman). I figured with his ghost wolf and my aspect of cheetah it's good for run speed (even tho ghost wolf is 20 and cheetah is uhh 30?). Also it sounds like an overal very strong pve/pvp duo, albeit maybe a bit unorthodox. Lil hunter is lvl 10 :D I hope that my hunter can be used to do some grind / solo DM for drop sells etc..

@Gallow , you shouldn’t or responsible for the majority of your consumes during progression as a tank, the guild should be helping with that cost. If you are short on gold just run strat live with some guildies to farm righteous orbs. “Hey guys, the gbank isn’t established yet, so I’m going to take all the orbs to stack consumes for the tanks.” Most guildies will be understanding and while they may not have any gold of their own to contribute, most teammates are pretty generous with their time. Make sure to mention that at the end of raids too. “Hey guys, we’re still trying to build up some consumes, you all made 2-4g during the raid tonight and if we could get that 2-4g donated by all 40 Raid members, we could pickup a few black lotus for BWL.” In my experience people are generous if you are very transparent and have outlined exactly what you plan to do with their gold/effort.
