Guys, they're worried about phase 2.

I hate to say it but the realm population decline seems to have stopped. There was a pretty heavy dropoff during the first few days, from 16k to 12k to 8k and then on down to 2-4k. But it's kind of settled there. Been pretty consistent queue numbers during peak hours for the past week now. Fairbanks is back up to a 4k queue today.

It's about time!rijndael wrote: ↑5 years agoMore realms than originally announced:

Sulfuras been pretty consistent. No queues before 7PM EST or so, but when everyone starts logging on after work & dinner from Eastern/Central zones, the queue climbs slowly, until it caps at several thousand at around 9PM. I'm hoping some folks transfer off.Pippina wrote: ↑5 years agoI hate to say it but the realm population decline seems to have stopped. 5k seems doable for me. That's like an hour and a half queue. Yeah I wish I could get into Fairbanks whenever I want, but I can't, but even at bad times a 90 minute wait is fine. That's enough time to start dinner, eat, clean up the kitchen, and be ready to go. I'm not moving servers based on a 5k queue. I'd move if it was still consistently 16k, because a 16k queue at 7PM means you're not playing that day. But 5k is manageable, and I'm already settled in. Seems like there are a lot of people in the same boat. We're all used to the queue now, the hot bath water no longer feels so warm. I wouldn't be surprised if few people actually move with a 5k queue.
