When you leave modern wow behind forever in two weeks to start over at level one with nothing to your name but rags and a pointy stick, what beloved characters will you be leaving behind? Whose journeys are finally coming to an end after all these years?
These are my nine mains. The hunter is probably the oldest, while the priest is the most recent to have hit level cap and completed her mog set. My DK is the one on which I have logged the most hours and gotten the most reputations to exalted. All will be missed, except the mage. She fucking sucks and I hate her.

My reputation is clean.

Nothing too important for me..I'll miss my Horde toons but I can move on.

I'm not leaving mine behind, I'm just sending them on a long vacation.

My battletag is: RevChris#1597

My ret paladin is really the only character I consider leaving behind. Tons of fun PVP memories in the last expansion with him.

You can't bring characters from live realms to classic :\

I'm not literally doing a character transfer. I'm re-using the same name, the same appearance, and the same class. The character lives on.

Pippina is ripping the spirit and memories from her gnome warrior and stuffing it into the classic version of her gnome warrior (not literally).
*Disclaimer: No gnomes were hurt in the ripping and the stuffing, maybe a little bit

Beats me. I have a full toon list and all of them are 80+. Many are raid geared from various xpacs, some are just free boosts that I never logged into. I cant think of any that really mean anything to me. My private server characters mean a hell of a lot more to me than anything I have in retail.

I was never an Alt-oholic.
I only have like 4 characters I played though out the 15 years of WoW.
My Vanilla Priest and Rogue.
Wrath Mage and Legion Warlock.
They will stay in retail and I will try and recreate/make new memories with those characters in Classic!
Do you realize we are less than 2 weeks out! The fudge covered Ice Cream is going on! Its sooooo soooooon!
Heading to Ironforge as an undead warlock and pretend I am a dwarf....ill explain to the guards i was a dwarf before i was killed on the battlefield...thats why i look like this...sorry rambling...

I've had the same Tauren Warrior since Vanilla, and I plan to go back to him from time to time. Aside from that, I don't really care about the dozens of other toons I've dicked around with from time to time.

The expansions after Cata caused me to care less and less about my retail characters. And jumping from fresh server to fresh server since 2010 for vanilla servers desensitized me from attachment.
I just look forward to the new friends I'll make and continuing past friendships on fresh content.

I think I'll still be playing enough to not "leave" anyone behind (at least not forever) but I will be missing my old guildies and friends from retail, most of whom aren't interested in classic :'c
