How fast are you getting to level 6? My best is only 36 minutes right now. I tried on a elysium realm. Are you 6 before entering brill? A few guides I've read say kill every mob you can between DK & Brill, but those level 5-6 bats all ravage making it longer to kill one.

I cant remember exactly the time it takes to level 6. But i get out of DK and do the pumpkin quest when im level 5. Then i grind if needed till i got enough to ding 6 when i turn in the quests at Brill.
You can death skip to Brill instead of running all the way.
1-10 Orc Warrior on Northdale in 2 hours, 35 minutes, shaving nearly 30 minutes off of my original time.

From the leaderboards, are there any way to see what race they are playing? Starter zones have big impact on 1-10 for instance.
Or good ol scroll through 40 pages is the only option?

No, race is not listed. IMO no one should choose toon or race based on how fast the first levels are done. Also not a single time indicates, how it will be, when classic goes live. That will be different beast altogether.
The leaderboards are solely on what time players achieved with what class.
I don't really care for the speed leveling but I love seeing the in-game screen shots in this thread!

so just under 1 day playtime from 1-30.... THAN add a whole day playtime from 30-40.... yup. I don't think any of my friends will be able to crack 60. They are just too weak-minded to make the journey. Maybe the chinese power level market will be even more popular this time around.

Wow nice time for duo, is there any run I could watch from you or give a small (or big
) breakdown of the run? We are planning to have a mini-lan following launch day with my mate and going to be doin a pala-mage combo as dwarf/gnome. It seems many quests are prolly gonna be skipped and alot of grinding needs to happen to stay ahead of the pack. Like the first wolf quest/ the boss in the first cave if you get unlucky with timing etc.

The main difference for 1-10 is that you're a little under-leveled. You hit 6 turning in Stocking Jetsteam/Beer Basted Boar Ribs so you have fireball for the yetis. You also have to wait to do Tundra MacGrann's Stolen Stash until after The Perfect Stout, since you won't be 7 on your first pass. I always skip the wolves, but I'm not sure what to do yet if I miss the boss.

Any suggestions for a first-time rogue player to get a fairly quick run
Do the most quests possible in the safest way. My run I am killing things 2 levels below me almost entire time. Good amount of tricks and stuff in the video tho if you can endure it.
