These days epic world drops are not really that rare, but in Vanilla they were quite rare.
1. What was your first epic world drop?
2. Which one do you think or want to drop once classic hits? (May only choose one, can include Patterns etc)
A1: Ardent Custodian! Dropped in STV
A2: Krol Blade - Probably just because of the brag rights. In my opinion one of the most famous world drops.
1.) My first epic was the Warden Staff or whatever the one Druids wanted because a Druid bought it from me and I was able to buy my epic mount with it!
2.) Any that cost alot of gold for selling lol

Freezing band is incredibly good. Its preBiS for mages and stays as their BiS for quite a long time. I'm not sure when they even replace these rings...? Its pretty far into the phases, if ever... Wasn't an epic, but I once got a Sword of Corruption from a cave in Thousand Needles. It was a blue world drop and I was so proud of it. I used that thing forever, until my friends finally said "Get rid of that shitty sword!"

My first, an only epic world drop I ever got in Vanilla was the https://classic.wowhead.com/item=14552/ ... -pauldrons . Not much use to a hunter, so they got sold for a few hundred on the AH.

I got Lifestone from a guildmate. I really loved that item as a leveling prot warrior.
The first epic world drop I found myself... really dont remember tbh. I know it was on my 3rd or 4th alt, so nothing special at that point.

ya know, i never got a epic world drop. leveling all of my, like, dozen alts...never got one. hopefully my bad luck turns around for classic. as for what i want, i dunno. i'll be playing a resto druid this time around, which is a class ive never personally done before (in old school WoW, at least. did one in legion because why not)...so i dont even know what gear to look out for yet.

http://classic.wowhead.com/item=1981 was the first one I found. I was a warr and it was useless, but I didn't know and IT WAS PURPLE OH MY GOD. I think I kept it for more than I would like to admit!
I would love of course to find some good recipe, like http://classic.wowhead.com/item=22388 and make a ton of golds out of it :D

1. https://classic.wowhead.com/item=811/ax ... deep-woods was my first BoE Epic, although it may have been after BC launched, in Arathi Highlands on my Shaman.
2. https://classic.wowhead.com/item=943/warden-staff for obvious reasons ;) I actually had this in vanilla on my Feral druid, got it for free in my 40's literally because I won a game of "Hey, whoever finds me first get's Warden Staff for free!" - so /target person spin around, there he is on the AH roof in Org! Ran to him, traded - BAM! Warden Staff for a leveling feral druid, insane.....

I don't remember my first BOE epic, however I remember my first BOE rare. It was https://classic.wowhead.com/item=11302/uthers-strength that has dropped for me in WPL at Uther's Tomb. I guess the name is fitting then. It was horrible, but I was so excited I still wore it.
I remember throughout time looting: https://classic.wowhead.com/item=14549/ ... -avoidance, https://classic.wowhead.com/item=2824/hurricane and https://classic.wowhead.com/item=1973/orb-of-deception which was epic if not by name. However I can't say which one was first or if it even wasn't something else.

dwarven hand cannon was my first boe epic farming in winter spring on troll mage. sold it and was the first horde person with an epic mount on my low pop mountain time server
