Amazing detail, after a quick search I think it was made by this dude.

Oh man this is so amazing. I'm very interested in miniatures - but more so looking at them rather than building them ;p I know if I ever start one (wouldn't even know where to begin!) I would never finish it... but things like these is so inspiring.

If you go back to the beginning of that thread, you actually get an idea of HOW he made it, and it is even MORE impressive. I read through the entire thread, and was thinking he did this with foam project board.... NOPE! He did it with building insulation sheets. He removed the paper backing from both sides and cut/shaped/textured the crap out of it. Shingles were made with the small popsicle sticks, and many of the textures were done with a mold stamp he created himself. Definitely worth the read!
VERY COOL! I would love to do something similar, but on a MUCH smaller scale.
I really need to give that thread a proper read when I'm not at work, it looks like you can take it all apart too!Beosaeviio wrote: ↑5 years agoIf you go back to the beginning of that thread, you actually get an idea of HOW he made it, and it is even MORE impressive.
