I’ve just found this forum as I was geeking out about WoW Classic.

And I’m super happy I did! This feels a lot like original experience of WoW forums with people helping eachother and being a fun/friendly bunch.

I started playing in late 2004 and stopped in Cata. Then played a bit through WoD and Legion just to stop again in BfA. Can’t wait for WoW classic though

I've been playing World of Warcraft since the end of Vanilla, about a month before Burning Crusade was released.
I can't wait to be able to live the experience in Classic from the start with all you amazing people. :)

Found out about this forum and joined it today, seem like a lot of like minded people dedicated to vanilla wow. Many interesting discussions on here, which I am lookng forward to take part of.

I will main a mage horde (probably undead but might play troll) when wow classic rolls out. Been playing on and off since Vanilla but haven't touched retail since 2017-ish. Also I am not a huge fan of playing on private servers since I don't like the fact that my progress might disappear whenever Blizzard (or the server owners) feel like taking it down.

I've been playing WoW on the "official" servers during TBC and WotLK. Unfortunately missed the vanilla experience there.
Stopped playing right before Cataclysm was released.

I did try, though, Cata on private servers, as well as the previous expansions which I have also played on Blizz servers.

Not sure IF and HOW much gaming time I'm going to have in the future, as I get more and more busy, but I am looking forward to try Classic and taste the feeling if I can, in a very casual way.

So maybe we'll interact in-game, at any one point. Wish you all fun times!

P.S.: I did not come here from Reddit, but randomly found this via Google searches while looking for vanilla retri paladin information and discussions.

Hello, I'm Default. I'm leading the hype train amongst my friends in discord. Found this website from that awesome patch graphics for each stage of classic's release.

2 of my friends played very tail end of Vanilla and start of BC.
1 friend started playing during Battle for Azeroth.
I started playing during the last year of Wrath of the Lich King.

We are all in our late 20s and starting to get into the rythm of life outside school. All 4 of us are no longer playing WoW until Classic is released. Also, Halo MCC PC hype this year! It's 2000s all over again baby. :)

oh and a new Tool album come Aug 30th. Like did we invent a time machine and no one told us?

Fresh newbie so it's fitting my first post comes here.

I am a Druid aficionado and a Horde fanatic playing on EU - (RP)PvP servers. Ever since the first news of the official classic servers I've been riding along with the hype train as many others. I only started to play end of TBC so I'm excited to experience the original wow! I stopped playing again recently but have been digging through heaps of vanilla guides and that's how I found this site aswell. I gotta say this forum looks really well made and cozy, looking forward to have some nice discussions with you all!

They're getting excited through all of our friend's excitement for old WoW. I commonly say that today's WoW took the RPG out of the MMO.

A truer representation of an MMORPG is classic. Something that requires forethought, discovery, and exploration.

I started WoW right when TBC came out and was hacked right after WotLK came out so I quit. I dabbled into some Cata a few times but wasn't a fan.
Now I anxiously await vanilla's return!

Indie company & project under NDA.

Its essentially a moba stripped down, it has no creeps, and is focused on objective control, team fighting, and proximity.
It's quite the project, but so far so good.

Thanks for the interest though, it's nice to see people always wondering what the projects about :D
