CODEX - A comprehensive Guild Management Spreadsheet

CODEX is a comprehensive roster spreadsheet that's open-access and tailored to the new adventures offered by WOW Forever. It was explicitly developed to support day-to-day guild management and is largely customisable by end-users.
Building on extensive usage of its predecessor, MK. Ultra during the heyday of WOW Classic, where it handled day-to-day raid management for hundreds of thousands of players, it has returned after a long slumber with the release of WOW Forever.

The landing page provides initial guidance on setting up the spreadsheet; this is not intended as a permanent feature, simply the wrapping for your packaged spreadsheet.
The Roster tab requires manual input of all relevant data for your guild members to fully function. This information is basic, but crucial for organisation and decision-making. Ranks and Gear Checks are the only aspects that will need updating over time.
Ranks can be tailored to your needs by clicking the cell and selecting the edit button in the drop-down menu; trial ranks should not be changed if you want the trial duration counter to function. Trial duration is automatically calculated from the join date and continues for as long as the trial rank remains. Once a member is promoted, this value is hidden.
It is recommended that you use the Raid-Helper Discord bot for signups (but any system works; you might just have to manually track attendance).
Once your raid is set, please access the Raid-Helper web interface, select "Export Data" → "Layout = All players in one column" and "Delimiter = Space" before clicking export.
Go to your Attendance tab, set the correct date, and paste the copied export into the paste field in the top row.
The Dashboard is an additional tool for guild managers; it gives you various data on your guild composition based on ranks, specs, and classes.
You can also use this for recruitment. Enter your target values for each class to get an immediate visual overview in the two charts. The radar chart should form a perfect circle if your target roster is perfectly balanced. Target specs are, however, pulled towards the middle of the chart to help you focus your recruitment.
The Loot Council tab gives you a quick overview of all your members (you can CTRL+F to search), this sheet requires no manual input, so it is protected.
Here you will find various metrics to assist in a fairer distribution of loot within the guild. It is not a flawless system, but it helps guide decision-making based on a basic fairness principle. It does not account for minor upgrades, legendary items, or high-end BiS items; an item is an item.
The Raid tabs require manual input. You will need to select the date of the raid by clicking the raid selector cells for clarity.
Once an item drops in a raid, you simply select the looting member from the drop-down menu (this is searchable and based on your Roster). The Loot Council tab will count the loot received and hold it against attendance.
Raid tabs are released as updates over time. In version 0.8 placeholders are loaded for pre-release announced content.
The guide tab gives you easy access to the basic information you need to operate the sheet and links to this post and associated tools.
Please select the version relevant for you below, go to "File" → "Make a Copy", Select a destination folder, rename the sheet to your preference (e.g. your guild name + roster) and move sheet to your desired location.
You will need to sort out permissions for the sheet based on your preferences; for transparency, I do recommend that you give public view access to the spreadsheet and just enable editing for the guild management.
Notice:CODEX requires a working Google Account
This is the initial beta release, released with core functionality for member tracking and prepared for future updates once more information is available concerning raids, world bosses etc.
