I don't know how they would ever say this is against ToS, let alone ban you for it. You are just accessing your system remotely.

yeah nah shitloads of people in discord have been doing that just to get in the queue while at work cause its still hours long on our most popular oceanic server, youre alright

Yeah its totally fair game at the moment. But I expect Blizzard will soon weigh in on this with new queue system. If the current state of queue is untouched it would be negligence, therefore expect some updates in the future to address stuff like that. But for now its fair game, we all now and realize now that its a free for all as far as queuing and AFKing/AFK botting goes.
beware the might of the slavic selodka

This isn't too different from multiboxing and they 100% allow that. Once software starts hitting keys for you it starts to be a problem though.

Teamviewer has horrible latency and is limited to 15fps. I would recommend another means of remote access.

I don't trust Google and try to avoid their products whenever possible, so I don't use Chrome and Chrome Remote Desktop is not an option.
I'm using TeamViewer. It is just a tool to get me into the queue 4 hours in advance. The queues on Fairbanks are regularly 4 hours long, and it's the only way to get into the server. Otherwise, getting home from work at 6PM means I'm not getting in. A 6,000 queue at 6PM means 'sorry, you're not playing today.' So around 3PM I start checking the queue and try to time it so the queue is up about 30 minutes after I get home. I'm not using TeamViewer to play the game, just to get my foot in the door so I have a chance to play when I get home.
TeamViewer has a cell phone program which lets you drive your computer from your phone. Again, not using it to run around and play the game because the latency and screen size and inputs on a cell phone aren't going to allow that. But using the phone software you can still log in and check your queue position while you're sitting in traffic.

I use AnyDesk, but it is only usable for simple stuff like checking the AH or fishing. Maybe apart from looking at your input intervals (I think these software transmit the data with some intervals that messes up the navigation with keys?), there should not be any way they can understand you are using a remote desktop software.

I absolutely love Remote Desktop. Yesterday was my last of six days off and it worked perfectly. I logged in around 1pm with a 5 hour queue. Went and played 18 holes of golf with my old man and grabbed a quick bite on the way back, popping in to check my queue sporadically. Got home with 20 mins in left. Just enough to shower.
I would avoid using it to PLAY the game, even though I highly doubt they're gonna be bringing down the banhammer for it, but it's near impossible to control your character anyway with your phone or tablet. Other PC? Eh, could be a different story but I only have the desktop.
