Let's just say I have a pretty old computer, and I was playing Vanilla and WotLK with pretty decent configurations (almost Ultra), and my game was running at +100 FPS.

Now, I've always use Fullscreen, but I just realized Classic has no Fullscreen mode, and I'm barely getting 50 FPS.

Did they remove this back in the day? Are they going to add it back to Classic?

Thanks for the responses :)

Classic is WAY harder on the GPU than the old Vanilla client is. I could easily run old vanilla with everything on the highest setting and the GPU would barely hit 10% capacity usage. With Classic my GPU is constantly at 80%+ capacity usage on ultra settings.
I'm also unable to use fullscreen though, I'm using Windowed fullscreen at the moment. How much FPS can you get when you lower settings to the oldschool setting?

I guess it has something to do with the optimization, but "Classic" settings actually give me less FPS than low-config... I've tried changing everything to see if I could get a better setup, but I just get the same results. The only setting that actually made some difference was the render distance, but the game looks horrible if you turn this too low.
