I just had to share this, sorry. I'd of shared it with my guild but it's retail and nobody's logged on for months and I can't just keep the excitement to myself.

I've been farming the second binding on and off for over 10 years now, I'd all but given up and decided to give it one last shot because I'd re-subbed for Classic anyway and low and behold it dropped! It bloody dropped!



So this is where Oskie will log off for a while now whilst I enjoy the real game.

Good luck to anyone going for this in Classic, you better start praying to RNGesus now!

I am going to try this on my Rogue since I resubbed for Classic.
I have been farming this for awhile now too.
I have all the mats to complete the quest and i just need the other half of the binding and I can get the weapon!

I have the legendary daggers on my Rogue and main hand of the Glaives so i need the other half of the binding and off hand glaive to have all the legionary weapons!

Fucking nice dude.

A buddy of mine ran solo MC a couple of years ago at level 90 or something with his priest and got both bindings in the same run. He went through the quest chain and got Thunderfury and can't even equip it because his priest lacked the ability to equip swords

I've run solo MC on and off for years on retail and only gotten one of the bindings.

CONGRATS! i got thunderfury on my Huntard about a year or two ago. I wasn't even farming for it. I was farming for mog pieces on like 6 or 7 different toons and - here's the funny part - got tired of deleting the bindings from my inventory every time one dropped for me. After years of deleting the bindings, I just said "screw it. I'll leave them in my bags, and if I ever get two on a single character, I'll take that as a sign from RNGesus and do the stupid quest". Literally a month later, my Huntard ended up being my first toon to get both bindings, and everything is hunter loot, so I did it. What a pain in the ass to get all the materials, though.

I managed to get Sulfuras, Invincible and Shadowmourne on my DK :D never got a single drop from Thunderfury, feelsbadman

Cool, now you get to do it all over again for Classic! maybe this time it wont take as long :^)

Good job! Now it's time to get it on Classic :P
