Atkars suggested we make a poll in the Realm name list thread, so I figured I'd set it up.
As the kids say "Where we droppin boys?"

Was going to do all the realms in one thread, but there were too many options.

Wow I'm surprised so many people are going for the DREADED STREAMER REALM

Probably Thalnos, but waiting to see where the streamers land.

Edit: Thalnos is probably going to be the unofficial Latin realm, so that seems to be out as well.

From what i've heard I thought Herod was gonna be the big streamer realm? Asmon said he won't say until launch happens, I was concerned when I saw you put the tag "INV TO ASMON LAIR" so I went and double checked his Twitter, this tweet and this one

If you have info I don't please let me know, but I think the tag in your poll will create a biased result as more people vote

The "Non Streamer Servers" thread has more info than I can give you, but that seemed to be where a few other streamers were going so I figured I'd use the generic streamer catch phrase to signify that

Thalnos will be the Brazilian Classic server - potentially several thousand Portuguese speakers. For NA East the best bet is to wait until Streamers announce where they're going and pick the other server, either Herod or Faerlina.

Ah i'm blind, thank you, that post had a bit of new info I wasn't aware of. I do still think poll results will be skewed due to the phrase on it but thats just my opinion. I hope we all make the right choices on the realm type we want!

More to Grobbulus!!! I need more people from this community on my server!

Rijndael, thanks for that info on the Brazilians going Thalnos. I'll have to follow that because I'll want to avoid that as well. If the streamers are leaning towards Herod, than Faerlina looks to be the choice.

Yeah and don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the Brazilians and Latinos, but English is my primary language and all my friends speak English. Having a split community is a big deal for a game like Classic WoW where social interaction is a critical part of the experience. I appreciate that different communities are being transparent about where they intend to settle so that everyone can make an informed decision.

Where the Fairbanks boys at? No streamers, no problem. This is where the grizzled private server vets will be hanging out on the west side.

As far as PvP is concerned, streamers have said they are not rolling on Thalnos or Fairbanks. The Brazillian community says they will be headed to Thalnos with their 3000 members https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/ ... iscord.jpg

For the rest of us looking for a good PvP experience without either of these communities, we are left with Fairbanks.

I'm rolling Fairbanks. Local time zone, PVP, no streamers, I'm in.

Leaning towards Whitemane but probably will roll a Horde alt or two on Fairbanks as well.

I changed the wording to "maybe streamers" and "maybe not streamers"

If they open another EST server after the name reserves that has a cool name I'm expecting it to become a golden server.

Im going there mostly because, i think people there are not going to be a intense as in other realms? i might be wrong but well..

As long as streamers don't pull a surprise attack and roll on Fairbanks, that's where my 4 pals and I are going.
