As far as I'm concerned, this is the official Classic forums.

I like this place better. We're a much smaller community. We could stand to grow a bit, but I like how we're still small enough to where nobody is faceless and lost among the crowd.

Well this is a surprise tbh - they (ion I believe) actually said in a recent interview that they would be re-creating the original forums with the old design, same structure and everything, including realms.

For them to just add a few extra forum categories to the modern forum structure isn’t what was expected.

Good news for barrens chat if this is all they’re offering after all

There's only one forum, Barrens Forum.

The public classic forums are going to become so toxic so quickly. Especially if you can still change your name/avatar by character without some sort of CD.

So happy I found this place. :)

Thats a shame, i liked them better before cross realm. I will still enjoy them, but it wont be the same vanilla experience.

Woohoo! It's about time Blizz!

They have had one for several months, they just expanded it from one general category to 4 different ones. I was on it for a bit & IT IS TOXIC! That's why I came here.

It might sound weird, but I think official forums are really soulless. I dislike this unintelligible format with timeline on the right. I much preferred the old-school version. I'm also afraid it will be full of bitter retail people complaining about Classic being pointless or taking up their game's development resources. I'm staying here.

This forum actually makes me feel like I'm in wow, much better :D
