I'm planning on leveling an UD Mage and I'm really torn about leveling Fishing and Cooking on my journey to 60.
I will be playing casually meaning the journey will probably take me around 4 months to 60 so I don't want to slow that down any longer than needed.
My question is, as a mage, is Fishing and Cooking really worth the investment of time to level while leveling?
Thanks ^^

If you're looking for speed? No. If you're looking to casually play; yes.

Personally I would not level cooking and fishing for a mage, simply because you can make your own food and water. The little stam/spi buffs are also not all that noticable, neither is the MP5 while leveling. So from a pure efficiency point of view, not really.
For casual fun, it's great.

I always push fishing/cooking after hitting 60 when I don't find groups or other stuff...

I always found it as a nice flavour to the experience but if you dont find it appealing RP wise, dont bother imo. I personally will level everything and I dont care much if it is inefficient, I wanna enjoy the game to its fullest and these professions provide it as well.
