quick test of client (EU) installs fine, 3gb update, havent actually logged in yet, gonna sit and watch the log in screen with the music for an hour later.

I do yes! will report back if this works without a sub later when we try and install on my wifes PC

How does the page changed? I see nothing new.

Think you might be a bit late to the party here. That worldofwarcraft.com/classic page has been up for months now, and people have also been able to download the 1.13 client for at least a month or two as well. You can download it, and even open it. But it gives an error about no servers being available, and that's as far in as you can get.

@Pippina I believe some people still don't have the option to download it.

I think this might be due to an old version of the battle.net client. I just fired up an old version I had on this computer and it looked like this:



But then I let the battle.net client update and the option for classic appeared:



so... I don't know. Maybe some regions are getting it sooner than others. But also old versions of battle.net can't get it either. So make sure your battle.net client is up to date and go from there.

i noticed that my retail account is now available for classic ! so i think we'll have some news about stress test with our actual accounts !

Weird thing is I can no longer launch the classic game client from my battle.net launcher. A few days ago it let me click play and launched the client, which then threw a 'no servers available' error. Now the play button is greyed out and the tooltip says the game is unavailable. Weird. Same result, but different behavior.

Think this is due to the live stress test for all active account holders coming this Thursday, i could download the client last night but my wife couldn't, but after the announcement of the stress test, we were able to download the client on my wifes computer. The play button was greyed out on hers and now on mine too, after successfully log in and staring at the log in screen for an hour
