At least that is the experience I would want to have, if I played again for the very first time.
I agree. Im totally searching for that mmorpg feeling. Like I said before I would like to learn the game and be good at it, because right now it seems like the best option at MMORPG, and its my favorite game genre. I cant stand fortnite, lol, tft... WoW is my main focus, and to fulfill that, I need to roll the perfect class for me. Its the only missing piece right now. I guess Im gonna search for gameplay videos of Tank Warrior, DPS Warriors and Mages... it might help to see more of the practical side of it..
What I also find really interesting, is that most people say that good Tanks become "wanted" and its easier to make friends.
Plus, I also found out that one of my friends is going to play Rogue. Idk if that helps out too.

edit: grammar

Warriors are the worst class to level. ...
I always think its funny when people try to downplay the difficulty of leveling a warrior... No one here is saying that leveling a warrior is equivalent to darksouls, but it is unarguably the worst class to level. In contrast to every other class in WoW, warrior is the worst, to say otherwise is a bit silly.
I've levelled 3 Rogues 1-60 and 2 Warriors (on 1x realms obviously). My /played record with Rogue is 5 days 23 hours, my /played record with Warrior is 5 days 9 hours.
The reason is simple, Warriors have a way better kill speed if you take Sweeping Strikes @ 30 and know how to manage rage. As a Rogue you're stuck damaging 1 mob at a time whenever Blade Furry is on cooldown. As a Warrior you can kill 2 mobs at the same time every second pull. And the best thing is when you're killing those 2 mobs you're killing them faster than you would kill 1 mob because you get more rage (from 2 mobs hitting you) and more damage (from Sweeping Strikes + Cleave/Whirlwind additional hits).
Problem is people try to go and quest with a Warrior. Warriors suck at questing. Ditch questing @ level 30 (Sweeping Strikes). Just find a place with melee mobs with low armor, preferably with decent mob density that allow for easy 2 mob pulls, and grind your way to 60.
Thats fair. This is anecdotal though. Warriors are far slower for the average user. And for someone inexperienced, they will die FAR more often. As I said before, the kill capacity is similar for both classes. Warriors are much the same/ a bit slower until they get sweeping strikes (level 30). Even then they are far more susceptible to dying in PvE and PvP. The class itself takes a lot more experience to use.

Alliance:
Human since they have https://classic.wowhead.com/spell=20597 ... ialization. Swords end up being some of, if not the best tanking weapons you can use throughout vanilla.
Weapon skill is just too good.

Horde:
I would say Orc, simply due to https://classic.wowhead.com/spell=20574 ... ialization and https://classic.wowhead.com/spell=20572/blood-fury but unlike the https://classic.wowhead.com/spell=20597 ... ialization axes are never BIS for tanking I believe which also leaves you with Troll as a viable option due to https://classic.wowhead.com/spell=26296/berserking which gives you an ability to gain mass amounts of threat pretty fast.
A lot of people also like Tauren for their increased health pool.

What you could also do is get a client and just play a couple of hours on a private server. There are instant 60 servers, servers with authentic leveling experiences (though not 100% Classic) or servers with increased experience gain rates. :)

The Race & Class Comparison Tool @teebling made can help you see the differences, if you feel like trying out a different race than what people suggest here.

Alliance
Human for threat generation due to weapon skill with swords and maces
Night Elf for mitigation due to higher agility and extra dodge chance

Horde
Orc for threat generation due to weapon skill with axes, also their racials are very good for pvp or dpsing in pve if you decided to.
Tauren for survivability 5% max HP is big one imo.
Troll for threat generation with Berserking, Orcs are obviously better with tanking axes but Trolls are better with other weapon types like swords (Daggers, Quel'Serrar, Thunderfury etc.).

Increased weapon skill is considered bis for tanking if your guild wants to push for very high dps so you would have easier time holding aggro.

I think this might be the best solution.
Could I get banned or something? Because I saw a post on Reddit few weeks ago about blizzard tracking the IP. I got a little bit spooked out about private servers, is it BS?
How can I get to the private servers and which one is the instant 60? I could test some lvl 60 gameplay, it would be awesome indeed!

Awesome! Thank a lot =D

I was also trying to remember my class choices on other mmorpgs that I played in the past. Its quite a bit “biased” tbh! haha damn:

Ragnarok: Assassin, Knight and Crusader
Archeage: Darkrunner
BDO: Berserker
GW2: Warrior and Guardian
Tibia: Knight and Paladin
9Dragons: Heavenly Demon and Wu-tang
Neverwinter: Great weapon fighter and Wizard
Cabal online: Blader

You'll be fine. Private server clients don't communicate with Blizzard servers in any way, and their history of legal action against pservers is always against the owners and not the users.

If you're still paranoid you can connect to them using a VPN.
