I got into the closed beta! :D

It's 11pm here so I'll just show you what I've found/noticed so far:

You can rearrange your characters in the character selection screen using the arrows like you can in retail:



There are two realms: one for PvP and one for PvE:

Just for your info, I didn't receive an email, I just saw that my bnet account had been updated with a new 'Beta' profile from the dropdown next to play:



I don't have an active subscription either.

How much reputation are you getting per quest if you don't mind me asking?

If you could give me a sample of about 4-5 quests that'd be swell.

I'd love to see how the Hunter Tracking works in the map.
In Modern WoW if you have Human Tracking On and it's an ally, you see a green circle. If it's hostile, it's a red circle.
Also the Hunter Pet from other players showing up as hostile. I wonder if they fixed that already.
Everything to do with Hunters and Pets as well. Feeding, skills, points, the usual. :)

SO PUMPED FOR YOU!!!! Tell us everything!!! I've heard some rumblings that the starting zones are actually showing A LOT more mob spawns than what was available on private... Are you seeing more mob density in early zones? If so this could result in much easier leveling on launch day!

Yes, me too! I'd like to have a comparison for private. If we could get the xp/rep rewards from the first batch of quests that would be great. Maybe a batch of 5 or so at each 10 level increment just to see how it compares to values on private.

Check to see if the auto shot is the same as vanilla, if so gunna be painful to get use to the attack speeds
also if the mana regen is supposedly still bad at early levels ?

I think this may be content creator privilege in action. I do remember you had discussions with Blizzard previously and they wanted your details to possibly 'send you things' in the future. This may be it

As for things to check out, like Kalo said, check if the weather system is there and also, is the combat text vanilla like? When you crit, do the damage number appear bigger?

As far as i have seen in the streams the weather system is not active.

Yeah, but that has something else to do with you. You have a big forum which generates a lot of traffic. This will also make Blizzard aware of you. The rule for normal people will still be to have an active subscription.

But I find it absolutely ridiculous to say that Blizzard only invites people who have an active account to the beta. Sry, what is that? The real veterans and classic lovers don't even play retail wow for the most part, and then we're supposed to sign up in the hope that we might get a beta key?

I don't care. I'll wait for August, reserve my name and then play.
