Personally i wont play the game unless they introduce:
- Heirlooms
- transmogs
- Sharding
- Tokens

What feature "cant you live without" in classic?
I picked other as probably just some life crysis would make me look away.
Non ironical, I am 100% not playing the game if there are tokens involved.
Sharding seems like the least agregious of these, as its purely a QOL improvement and doesn't impact overall gameplay all that much if its only implemented in starting zones.
None of these. Heirlooms would be awful. Transmog would take away a lot of feel for the game, I used to love staring in awe at the absolute units that had items I didn't. Sharding wouldn't kill it for me, but I'd still prefer not to have it. Tokens would be an absolute joke and would ruin the game IMO. Flying mounts would also take away a lot of what I liked about older versions of WoW community and world pvp wise.

While I'm not super keen on it, I think Transmog would work best in Vanilla. You can't really go back and solo raids to get cool tier sets. It would, however, allow you to rock your T1 or T2 that you EARNED while wearing a hodgepodge of funky looking Aq40 gear.
Also, the only way Flying Mounts would be acceptable in Classic is if it changes your Flight Path cosmetically. Free reign to fly the world ruined a lot of the mystery for me.

If there is a add-on for changing your own client models I'm in on that. Besides that I'll be playing base classic. Pls don't add anything BLIZZARD!

So far 6 people want sharding. That's 6 people who will likely go back to retail before 60 or shortly thereafter.
I voted - Heirlooms.
Reason: Heirlooms are for whiney quitters that don't want to actually experience the grind in an MMO.
(For the record - my "every class at 110+ that hasn't been a MAIN wore heirlooms)
Heirlooms were introduced to help cater to newer players that wanted to get to max level faster, due to already being behind the power curve when they purchased the game. IN Classic-WoW; that X-Factor will not exist.
Sack up and hit WPL like the rest of us to get level cap!
Though I'd still play, even if they added heirlooms, I'd just target guys/gals wearing them.

My reputation is clean.
Other: Guild banks, Community Feature.
Why the guild banks bother so many people (if implemented) i do not know but the devs even said if they had the Technology back then they had them made in vanilla.
The Community Feature is nice to have groups outside your guild that are for specific things like TM VS SS or Redridge Police force. If it is not ingame the people will use discord nonetheless.
That are just nice to have features nothing i will cry over.

Actually I really dont like any of these Addons - I played TBC and WOTLK and after that I stopped playing retailed and started my pserver career. Honestly, only Skateboarding will forget me about classic!

It seems you might also have to take a boat!
It might be worth setting up HS for close by for classes that farm there? Mages can always teleport / make portals back
