I'd like to start off by apologizing in the event that this has already been posted elsewhere. Please direct me to that post if so. I've been having a blast reading everyone's posts on here. The excitement and positivity is contagious. It got me thinking... wouldn't it be great to play with people like this when classic launches? who better!

I was wondering if there was any plan on the table for a <Barrens Chat> guild once classic goes live that we could all just funnel into. Of course, I'll need an Alliance equivalent, but it would be neat considering I would be going into classic guildless and without the few friends I made on live (filthy legion babies).

To answer your question, if it was directed at me: I don't have any plans to lead a guild for barrens.chat. Playing the game and working on the site will be enough and I don't want to burn out!

That said, this has indeed been discussed before and there is definitely interest in a <Barrens Chat> guild amongst our members and a thread was started a week ago for people interested in forming it once realms have been announced and a server/faction has been decided upon.

I think it's a great idea seeing as we're all acquainted through the site as it is, and will do my best to support any such efforts!

I think our interests might be a bit too diversified for that. Some want PvP, others want RP, I am definitely doing WPvP-PvE - so it's better to be open to the community.

Besides, if we were to start a guild, who would be posting on the forums anymore? We'd all be in guild chat talking all day.

I have only been here a short time; however, there also appears to be a healthy amount of both Horde and Alliance posters.

I wouldn't want to play the other side primarily to fit a guild, and I expect many others wouldn't either.

Joining a like-minded guild and continuing to post stuff here, best of both worlds.

We could go on the same realm though no matter what and how we will want to play.

I'm with Nymis on this one. There's plenty of opportunity to find the perfect guild for you here on the Barrens Chat forum. Like Nymis said our preferences are too varied and our regions are segmented by geo locked servers.

If you want EU region hardcore WPvP/PvE then roll with Kron Kon and Nymis, if you want a more relaxed experience on the same server then roll with me and Sol In Noctem.
