I remember hearing a lot about it a few years ago. How's the population in that game? And do the game cost anything to play or just the subscription?
Classic on a private server haha. I know, I know, it isnt Classic... But its pretty close. By my estimate Private servers will be as close to retail vanilla as Classic will be, with minor changes to both.

At the moment still playing LoL, as I did these past 5 years. Do not really enjoy it much anymore, just playing when my friends want to play. Filling the void, waiting for Classic...
Oh, and I made a new account on OSRS, its quite playable on mobile. Quite nice while I'm commuting.

Im playing Classic WoW on several private Servers and from day to day I practise my route on my offline server.
Twitch Channel, feel free to take a look :)!

It’s been a rollercoaster for me waiting for Classic:
Left the army after 13 years last month,
Moved to a new city,
Started a new job in IT,
binging tv shows,
picked up a guitar for the first time in 13 years,
Got high for the first time in 13 years,
Trying to adjust to normal life,
Put my annual leave in for the release of classic (I’ve told work it’s not got a date yet but they’ve said it’s okay I can just book it when We have one and take 2-3 weeks off)
All in all I’ve been rebuilding my life as it was when I left it in 2006 before the burning crusade dropped,
It’s quite fitting that I left vanilla to join the army and now I’ve left the army and I’m going back to vanilla.

Im not playing anything at the moment, tempted by some private servers but with classic a few months away it seems a waste of time to level up a character on them.
I am getting really into watching some GTA RP streamers on Twitch though :) That should keep me going until the beta comes out / ptr comes out

Thought you were joking too, but I should probably clarify. I consider Black Desert Online a "single-player" mmo. Cause even though you're online with a bunch of people, can have guilds, and groups, you're usually on your own completing almost anything but killing mobs. There are no real "healers", everyone is basically DPS, and you can't trade anything but basic pots. Boss fights are open world, and usually it just 30+ people smacking the boss at the same time - no group dynamics really. You're pretty much siloed as players - even though you're all there together, you're pretty much doing your thing.
That being said BDO is still one of my favorite games ever. It's potential for RP is amazing, and the profession, node, worker system is tops. Seriously one of the most immersive games I've ever played.

Most of BDO's group content is PvP in the siege wars which are really cool or in PvE it's high end group farming (the groups often require something like 250 ap) that is just grinding like normal but in a group. Some kind of group content in the form of a dungeon or raid would make such an huge impact (in a good way) and give the players another goal besides constant grinding.Windstone wrote: ↑6 years agoThought you were joking too, but I should probably clarify. I'm currently playing Ascension WoW on Elune Diceroll, you should try it guys it is a lot of fun.

I'm not playing it yet, but the new D3 season starts on the 17th - that should be enough to get me through to WoW Classic.

I'm playing fuck all, nothing can hold my attention. My thoughts and prayers are with Classic WoW launch date announcement.

Playing a lot of Anno 1800 with my Girlfriend and sadly started World of Tanks again. I thought The division 2 would keep me busy till classic but the loot is just so bad (not anthem bad) and no point in grinding the perfect roll.

Playing Magic Arena. Lots of fun! Free to play and it is fun even with the starter decks! Recommended if you ever played paper Magic the Gathering!
But my limited play time (job, wife & kid) will be devoted to classic when it finally arrives!

Actually I just do speedruns in Classic WoW on my offline server. Beside that I working on our new guild for classic and try to find solid core players. Actually we need Mages and Warlocks. (If you play EU-West PN me)
Twitch Channel, feel free to take a look :)!

Assassin's creed odyssey, waiting for classic to show up and I play on PS4. I always do everthing except main quests in games so it takes me a long time to finish games. I don't even play that often. Once/Twice per week :D. It took me 4 months probably to finish Witcher 3 and expect Odyssey to take same time.
I plan to play more often when classic comes live.

I stupidly stayed up until 3:30 AM on a work night last night playing Dark Souls 3. God damn that game sucks you in.

I'm still playing BfA, though it became stale long ago for me. Just leveling alts, playing the AH, and running mythics/PVP haha.

I've been playing a lot of Town of Salem, I like to just to troll or take the game seriously.
I'm ready for classic to get here already tbh, lol.

It kills me that its over 3 months to Classic.... Classic Summer my ass. And I don't really want to spoil the hype by playing beta (if I snagged an invite). I would probably just make a character, look at all the options and default UI and stuff to see how it compares to Priv Server experience and altered memories of Vanilla WoW.
