I don't have one favorite dungeon, but there are some dungeons i really like:
Low Level: Deadmines
High Level: Scholomance & Dire Maul

God damn this is hard to choose.
Like... really hard.
I think I have to go with Scholomance. I loved the aesthetic, the fights, the layout, and I think I had more gut-wrenching laughter in that dungeon over all other 5-mans and that is exactly what I am going for in WoW so much of the time.

Ooooh, good question. BRDs an easy answer, because its a good dungeon but not necessarily 'favorite'. Id say SM or SFK. SM is kind of cheating, but its got great loot for every class that will last you a while. Lots of quests for both factions. You run it a TON, from 30s through 40s. And it also coincides with the evolution of your character. At 40, not only do you (hopefully) have your mount, but certain classes change around that time. Warriors and pallys start collecting plate and hunters/shamans get mail, not to mention major new abilities/talents around that level. You'll even finally start getting some decent shoulder/head slot items! It feels representative of the real soul of classic WoW. Its easy to burn out and quit the game, but if you stick around long enough to start running the later stages of SM, its kind of like a graduation. Youre not a 'lowbie' anymore. Youre taking your first steps into what the rest of the game will be. Its something to be proud of.
SFK is just neat. Super atmospheric and unique. And even though previous dungeons had final bosses, Arugal is such a quintessential villain. I mean, whats more iconic of a fantasy setting than storming a castle to slay an evil wizard??

I have to say deadmines has to be one of the best dungeons ever.
It had everything, I mean you go through these mines just to get to the instance and continue through mines.
It felt like a journey, an adventure, kinda had that Goonies vibe to it lol
Then you finish going through the mine and it all opens up like you are outside of an instance and see this huge ship you need to overtake, what a well thought out dungeon!
Finally you walk out the back of the mines out the back instead of zoning out where you zoned in, bravo blizzard!
But it still was not my favorite lol
My favorite was everything in Black Rock Mountain, UBRS, LBRS, and BRD!

I couldn't explain it better myself :DD

Sunken Temple because it really feels like a deep ancient mystical place in the world that you just weren't supposed to be in. like a submerged temple underneath a lake in a place called swamp of sorrows? that screams high fantasy and i love it. the whole maze part of it how it is just so easy to get lost in there and never return. the secret statues to open up a hidden door to fight a boss. the DRAGONS flying around and how you fight ghosts of dragons and ancient tribes trying to reincarnate evil gods. i fiend for that shit.
also Scholomance because the fantasy of that is awesome too. A secret school for necromancy hidden in some ruins in a land overtaken by undead? sign me the fuck up. I would enroll in that school so fast. Also that its based on a real romanian legend where the devil teaches dark magic to students and theres a sick ancient storm dragon that lives beneath the lake

Maybe not my favorite, but in Razorfen Downs my guild always referred to the boss on top of the bone pile with all the dancing skeletons around it as the Slipknot Concert. That memory always keep Razorfen Downs near the top of my list.

Dire Maul! :D
Dunno why, but most fun in my eyes!
Twitch Channel, feel free to take a look :)!

SFK, first one I ever did, and my first toon was an undead mage so I farmed the hell out of it.
Vennrick - Human Warrior
Keatts- Human Rogue
Grobbulus - US
This is a tough one... Probably anything in Blackrock Mountain. UBRS even though a 10 man is still a dungeon. And I miss UBRS.. A lot..

I really enjoy ZF solely for the stairs bit.

Cant be anything other than Scarlet Monastery for me. Spent so much time in there when I first started playing.

Omg, yes! Original ST was actually super creepy and fun. The new bastardized version makes it one of the worst. Can't wait to revisit this one!d3aths wrote: ↑5 years agoSunken Temple because it really feels like a deep ancient mystical place in the world that you just weren't supposed to be in. like a submerged temple underneath a lake in a place called swamp of sorrows? that screams high fantasy and i love it. the whole maze part of it how it is just so easy to get lost in there and never return. the secret statues to open up a hidden door to fight a boss. the DRAGONS flying around and how you fight ghosts of dragons and ancient tribes trying to reincarnate evil gods. i fiend for that shit.
The Footpad
Shadowfang Keep. Was my first dungeon, so it has an special place in my heart.
Second place would be for SM Cathedral.
Naughty secrets!

Hands down BRD. It had all the elements of a great dungeon: layout and mechanics (locked doors, events etc.), scale, lore, atmosphere and ofc loot.
