24th seems to be only some kind of "event" according to Tip, I'm assuming this is something he wants to do with this community and is not related to anything from Blizzard.
However, 19th could indeed be beta launch. I don't know what else "multitasking" during GOT is supposed to be, unless he's referring to multitasking watching an announcement while watching GOT *rolls eyes*

This is a good compilation of new data, like for instance that instead of using sharding they're using layering. It seems to be that each server will have multiple layers that are like giant shards

I would be entirely shocked if Race/Faction were possible.
Likely it was made possible due to changing racials and faction balance. Your character from Day 1 that had best racials now had worst, etc. A "racial nerf" so to speak, but in Classic we all know what we're getting into and same with the factions.

can someone confirm which build they're using ? blue posts have stated they took a Legion build, which doesn't support multithreading or DX12. however someone on Reddit was just claiming that someone data mined the latest beta client and it is from a newer BFA build and simply has DX12 disabled.
