If it makes you feel any better, it's only the best weapon in the game for tanking. I still need to collect and maintain an entire bag and half's worth of healing gear + some extra items for tanking threat generation and eventually maintain an entire bag full of crowd pummelers

jesus christ man

Yea the druid life is hard on bag space man :(
I have, if I'm lucky, like 12 slots available.
1 full healing set.
1 full tank set.
1 full dps set (which generally stays in my bank since I don't dps that often)
and the MOST important one... 1 full PvP set (has some, but little, overlap with my healing set)
And raids always be giving bag drops to warlocks :(
Ah, it's a fair tradeoff... drudis get geared as fuck in no time from raids.

Which seems like it accelerates the bag space issue

Priest life ain't any better. I've got four sets:Yea the druid life is hard on bag space man :
- Holy PvE
- Disc PvP
- Shadow PvE
- Shadow PvP
There is some overlap between the sets but my bank is fully loaded with 16 slot bags and still full.

Got like ~500g after buying the epic mount not long ago.

That’s really impressive for being level 29.MarkRichardson wrote: ↑5 years agoLevel 29, and have 62 g, I believe I am playing the game quite nicely.

Hugely. I'm 29 and I have maybe 15g. A hunter too. :(Chromie wrote: ↑5 years agoThat’s really impressive for being level 29.MarkRichardson wrote: ↑5 years agoLevel 29, and have 62 g, I believe I am playing the game quite nicely.

Honestly, stacking up gold during this time when you're 60 is a waste.
When you've got the essentials what you need at 60, let's say pre-BIS, epic mount and whatever.
After that, you should start researching if you don't know yet what will be essential for your character in the later phases, as the time goes on, things will get pricier, so spend your gold accordingly. That might be materials for future consumables, what you might need for PvP if you plan on ranking and whatever.
So in short, stock-piling gold is a waste, start investing in the right stuff for your character appropiately after you've got the essentials for the current phase.

Level 34 with 25G, I've no idea how I'm going to get my mount @ 40.
It's going to be fun though haha!

Being frugal from 34 onwards should get you pretty close honestly.

Beg for a loan from a friend

I had 78g at level 42 and a random paladin I had been running instances with for the past day and a half donated the final 13g to the cause. Mount + training was only 90g. He was level 40 himself and said he didn't need the gold because his mount was free, lol. I bought my mount that night and mailed him back the gold + some extra a couple of days later.

Around 1,400g after buying my epic mount. Yes I'm a hunter. Yes i solo Tribute runs. Yes I love it.
Or you could sit at your computer and do something that matters."

I have about 50g at level 47, I haven't upgraded my moves since getting my mount at 43, and I hadnt bought any moves I wouldnt use from like level 15. So I'm going to be skint again instantly If I buy them all.
I did how ever get a warden staff drop from random mobs in hinterlands, so can maybe sell for 300g?

130g on my druid, 60g on my shaman. Will need plenty more for when I hit 60 and need to buy gear and enchants, but doing ok. Shaman has 270LW so can do cured rugged hides every 3 days for about 17-20gold which is great. Catching up with herb and alchemy now so I can also do xmutes for more gold.

Update: 24g on my druid after buying the level 36 spells! (The ones I'm using, rest will have to wait).
I would love to have mount at 40, BUT as I am a druid there is no rush. Instant travel form is sometimes faster depending on distance. Something like if you run for longer than 13 seconds or something.

Bought Epic Mount few days ago which made me broke(7g left). Farmed abit this weekend and sitting at 400g atm. Got some consumables that will increase in price when p2 hits. Will spend my money when i got enough for lionheart helm.

300g in raw gold.
~500g in investments which should yield up to 1000g when its all sold.
No epic mount, zero farming. Casual play.

I'm broke, gave 25g to a friend to get his lvl40 mount.
I bought the void epic robes pattern off the AH for 16g.
While leveling i have bought a good amount of items for professions and random stated gear.
So at lvl43 im sitting at 20g (+25g when paid back).
I guess its okay because my epic mount can be as cheap as 150g I think, if i farm the mats and at lvl40 i get a free mount
So it feels like as a warlock, my 1000g at lvl60 I would have spent for a mount with any other class, is going to go towards epic gear on the AH like underworld band and tier 1 bracers and belt. I think thats a good investment...

| Fatherbatch - Holy Priest | Kirtonos PVP | Level 1 | - | Reignmaker - Frost Mage | Kirtonos PVP | Level 1 |

Got around 50g raw. Invested everything else in Supreme Power flasks since my server is still layered. Expecting prices to shoot up after p2 release and make some nice returns ^_^

Update:
Level 43 on Druid, no mount yet and have total abou 25g
I tend to help out guildies a lot with various things usually costing me gold. I always put leveling professions before
making gold. 250+ Leatherworking and 285+ skinning at the moment.

Almost 500g with epic mount mats on me. I could've had 5 times as much if I wasn't guild/raid leading. Maraudon farming gets you 30g an hour + mats that sell for another 6-10g because everyone is leveling engineering now.

Sweet fuck all. 50g on my profession alt, and 20g on my main. But I have devilsaur set now, some other nice feral pieces, and also grabbed all the wildheart BoE and the living shoulders. Lvl 55 now and keen to get some more gear and hit 60.

435g, I have to keep buying essences for one reason or another so it may be a while until I get an epic mount lol

Update: -100g.
Reality: 150g, but I owe 100g to one guildie and 150g to another.
Borrowed the 100g to put me over the top for the epic mount.
Borrowed the 150g to ensure I could get a Foror's last week.
Now....I need to go kill me a dragon.
