I've played both factions and honestly, I just enjoy Alliance cities and having Paladins in my groups more than Shamans. I'm still open to playing either, but for now, I'm settling on Alliance.

I just hope I don't choose one that eventually turns out to be one side dominant. It'll really kill the fun.

Horde is love, Horde is life. Except for the Alliance it is death!

Somehow Horde always felt like the right choice for me. Zombies, and giant cows. There is no beating that.

Undead is the way to go, I cant do that as Alliance! But dont worry, I'll give the Alliance plenty of Priestly attention.

In retail I play exclusively Horde, Alliance is almost dead on my realm. I play in polish speaking guilds, and I'm looking forward to do same in Classic. Problem could be there is not enough players on my side so I am free to change my mind if only good oppurtinity will show up.

For the HORDE

So I have been Horde all my "previous" WoW life. Now I really wanted to try Alliance for a brand new perspective, new experience etc. I had a few ally alts but never really dedicated enough time to explore this side of WoW behind blue banner.

Now seeing Horde vs Alliance split of guilds posted in this forum makes me wonder.
Do you think that it reflects that more experienced / seasoned player base (that should be represented by users of this forum - after all most people here played Vanilla and/or following couple expansions) is and will be gravitating more towards Horde?

Being surprised I did not find this poll in older threads (please point out if I am wrong), let's start with answering the basic question and elaborating why do you pick what you pick regarding faction? OF course there are tons of good summaries and analysis. Horde is typically better for PvP (orc hardiness, will of the forsaken...), Alliance is typically better for PvE (blessing of salvation, fear ward...), etc. But I am curious about arguments that made you stick with (or change) your own choice.

Horde is cooooool

Alliance because I really like the look and feel of the "old" Alliance. Also, when I played retail all my chars were Horde so I want to experience something different this time. In current retail WoW Alliance is kinda the laughing stock of the factions (all serious raiders play Horde) so I'm glad that we are going back to things being more balanced.

Alliance because pala and it is the only faction i know in Classic ;)

Anyway poll results confirm that BC's user base is visibly skewed towards Horde.
