Just wondering what everyone's plans are at the start of SOD. Is it worth going for BIS gear with the level 25 cap in place, or is all of that gear going to be outdated right away when the level cap increases?

The way I see it, gear is always replaced eventually anyway. But with the low level cap, I'm planning to spend more time on leveling alts and trying different classes/specs in phase 1 and not worry as much about the endgame yet.

Nah, theres just no need. The raid is way too easy to worry about gear.

Isn't the acquisition of Pre-BIS to BIS the best part of the PvE experience? Plus then using that gear in PvP as well.

I always like the progressive itemization of my characters as I level them, if feels better than getting loot from MC for me. So while only a casual player I think it's really enjoyable to at least gear up where I can.
