WotLK Classic Pre-Patch Releases August 30th

Pre-Patch Release Date Confirmed Featured Image

We finally have a confirmation for when the pre-patch will begin, with the schedule for the next month outlined in the recent news post.

On August 30th we will get the WotLK Classic pre-patch, followed by the Zombie Invasion Event, starting on the 6th of September and ending on the 13th of September.

On the 13th of September, we will get the Scourge Invasion event, giving us unique gear sets which include the Blessed Regalia and other interesting rewards.

Notably, Brewfest will be starting according to the usual schedule, beginning on the 20th of September and running until the 6th of October. This means that we will get 6 days of Brewfest during pre-patch and the rest after Wrath of the Lich King Classic releases.

The post does not clarify if we will be receiving the level 70 or 80 version of Brewfest and Coren Direbrew, but, if it is the level 80 version, that is a big incentive to rush to level 80 to not miss out on trinkets such as Corens Chromium Coaster.

As previously confirmed, WotLK Classic will be released on the 26th of September. Arena Season 5 will begin on October 4th/5th, depending on your region, and raids will unlock at 3:00 PM PDT on October 6th, giving everyone plenty of time to get to level 80 before the first raid reset.

hopefully there will be no zombie plague event on fresh servers as it prevents leveling for 1 week.

Oh it will cause a lot of angry forum posts. So many they may even cut it short like they did the first time.
